I actually do think that shipping and dissecting in forums of what we love in couples we see in dramas as very educational -- most of us have no idea what we want or need from a partner. we wouldn't know where to start and explain. for example, many would say "someone nice" but what on earth does that mean really?

however dramas and movies give us a point of reference -- when we are able to undersand what we are drawn to, then we are able to have the language to better explain our romantic aspirations and thoughts. discussing with others in a forum can help us identify what it is that we are drawn to and why.

there is nothing wrong with opposites attract but there is also nothing wrong with same nature/trait. but if we know our romantic prefence, it can help us eventually to figure out why one person is better match for us than another in real life. that is just my personal philosophy on how dramas can make us wiser romantically! ❤️
