So they overturned abortion today in the Supreme Court and it seems like they are going to be after obergfell sooner or later( which establishes same-sex marriage in the US ) 😞.

Are we in 21st century or 2nd? I bet people had more rights and we're more equal in 2nd century than now

They have been running with a 19th century constitution and using that as a justification to ban any rights codified after that 😒.

Excuse me, I'm not an expert, but the Constitution of the U.S.A. dates to the 18th century, not 19th, and the men who wrote it were emphatic that it was not based on Christianity.

You are right that the constitution itself isn’t based on Christianity. The evangelicals who had mobilised after ending of segregation made it a big part of the platform and they became even more powerful after Reagan became president( Reagan administration also actively downplayed the AIDS epidemic that disproportionately killed gay people to cater to the evangelicals).
