I didn't watch king's affection; I generally avoid saeguks because I am not a fan of palace politics but bossam, wow, I just loved it. 🥰 I learned to screencap and share pics just because of that drama. I loved it that much.

something I loved about bossam in that it dealt with older romance and characters who have utterly lost in life and felt a bit lost. even the question "why do I live?" was so pertinent and his amazing answer "because we just do, we don't need a reason".. something about how it dealt with the drugeries of daily life and pushing through your struggles -- it was the perfect watch during the lockdown. gah, it still has my heart! 🥰

a single gesture of him 'protecting her from the raindrop' -- now that is old school romance in the best sense! ❤️❤️

and the OSTs, wow I still listen to them. ❤️

Are Ushna Shehroz wearing the same dress in rukhsati like they wore in teasers. As i was wondering whether they shot the teasers in different wedding dress but it looks the same to me.

Also, it looks like Rukhsati is much more grand than Bidai in Hindus. It seems to hold more significance there.

I watched last episode of Dil Awaiz and it has both Raeesa and mehnaaz too and they are related but their roles are better there I think. So I will watch that show once ASA is over. I will take Noor after that.

Yes that actor has a particular way of talking and I don’t like that style. That aahen bharna is too much.

I mostly binge watch other dramas on fri-sat-sun when there is no asa. Oh shit! Today is Friday. No asa😔

find me in your memory was interesting for me because it dealt with grief, guilt and memory and how that affects romance and just moving on in life. like I wroe in my previous post, not a typical romance in any form.

I love dramas and so will watch anything with subs as long as I find it interesting. 😁 based on our discussions, I will recommend two kdramas that you might enjoy. both are mature type dramas with very different character charts and motivations. basically not the usual type of romances but at the same time, great chemistry, cinematography, music as well as acting and script.

the first one is "find me in your memory" -- one reason I liked is that the male lead made serious boring character interesting! the way they portray news organization felt more on point and he made anchor-nim (the character) really droll in a fun way. usually a flaky character as female lead can be annoying but they were layers and she made it interesting to watch. plus more than a romance, there were some interesting themes and mystery to keep you engaged. it wasn't typical.

the second drama is "bossom - steal the fate" -- I absolutely fangirled through the drama. omo, it just took my breath away. this was a throwback in that there was not a single kiss through the drama but the leads had so much unspoken deep love for each other that there was no need for it. absoutely fantastic acting where they would emote not just through the dialogues but in the silence and the little expressions. midway through there was a lot of palace politics and stuff and normally it would bore me but I stayed engaged through the end.

Did you see the red sleeve? I am absolutely in love with Lee junho after that drama. I blush like crazy even when I see his photos or clips on my insta feed

I liked the chemistry between the leads in Dil Awaiz , they have some really good scenes. My only issue was with the male lead running after a girl who he saw in a payal and not her face. He did not even know the payal girl was his wife only and he did not accept her completely till he know. But the acting of leads was good and the chemistry too.

That reminds me of one movie where the lead is in love with voice or something. I don’t understand that so he is love with a payal? That’s weird. What if an old lady was wearing it who is married?

So he only accepted her once he found out? Okay looks like a very silly plot but will see how I go. I watched the ML in khamoshi and he gave me Romeo vibe but this guy is a very good actor and he was in love with the FL and she loved him too so it made sense him not giving up. That FL was very strong. He used to question her and she basically said that if I have to keep explaining myself all the time, then it’s not a relationship but misunderstanding, and misunderstandings should be finished.

I think kritika is the only one he didn't cheat on as she never said anything against him and they are still good friends. I remember him hating one actress after kritika and she also accused him of cheating. Anushka told the entire world he cheated on her. Will have to wait and watch how things go with tejaswini. Tejaswi is a brat. She is a loudmouth and a bad Nagin lol 😂 she is enjoying the lime light and attention. She has a massive fan base apparently. Let’s see how long it lasts though as it appears karan is commitment phobe.

I read good things about it but wasn't in the mood when it aired.
