The reason for separation and timelines

I wonder what might be the reason for separation? They need to come up with something very good because otherwise it would be very illogical that they hate each other so much that they informed to the kids that the other parent is dead. Moreover I find the division of kids and the one parent never going to meet the other set of kids is just plainly ridiculous.

Since its an Ek show I am not too sure. Probably they haven't even thought why Nik and Pallavi might have separated. They be like we want a separated couple each with some kids who meet at their daughter's wedding. Baki aage peeche kuch nahi socha hoga shayad.

I don't want to compare it to Itna karo na mujhe pyar but the resemblence is too much to ignore. There too I found it ridiculous to that parents could divide their kids and just live by almost forgetting the other set of kids and calling them mere bacche and tumhare bacche 😵 and the timelines and backstory too was quite messed up there. The age of FL and the timeline just didn't make any sense. Since this show seems quite similar I atleast hope it corrects a lot of mistakes of the former. The reason too should be strong enough and logical. Moreover I really want something other than cheating. It doesn't even make much sense as Nikhil seem to be a flirt or casanova in any sense. I don't think he even notices other people's existence🤪

Even though I don't think any reason can justify that they never felt like meeting the kids. I especially feel very bad for Manna/Panna. Whatever problem Pallavi may have with Nikhil its not okay to not contact her son and daughter ever 😭

And is the timeline already messed up? I mean they are showing Nikhil and Pallavi have been separated for 18 years aand we have also been shown a flashback of Nikhil celebrating Barkha's birthday where she looks 2-3 year old or more but presently she is shown as 18 year old. How is it possible?

I know🤣 so I am like 99% sure they haven't thought about head or tail of the story. Bass unko starting point pata hai. Reason for separation? Writers be like woh toh chalte chalte soch lenge. Back story reveal ke ek hafte pehle jo sujhta hai voh reason🤪

Moreover after IKNMP I have zero hopes of logical story in this topic

In my speculation , it may be possible that either the child except barkhaa are their own children... And all of them are adopted... And why are they so its not yet revealed till now...I dont think ki they are that much foolish that they didn't thought of the is biggest mystery of separation at first...

Or there is another speculation...that their separation may be because of career barier issue....for why pallu is against of marriage....

Exactly guyz .. ...even I want the reason to be extra strong for their separation other than old rut EMA

..."Yes something related to career" like Nik was too grossed over a business routine and couldn't balance for his family and a disaster happened, or Pallavi wanted to continue her cooking classes , course , but inlaws was against of it and blunderous misunderstanding hapend between "NikVi" for big event like this...🙂🙂

I feel Nick's sister created MU between Nick-Pallavi. She looks like a vamp. And it is Ek show so leads' family members being antagonists is not new. Mostly reason will be adultery, as Ek loves to create MU between leads using 3rd and 4th angles.

N in itv shows no matter the age of leads, there are 3rd and 4th angles falling in love and later on obsessing over them. Jatin is already there and I won't be surprised if he turns negative as show progresses.

Lol, 😂 I found the timeline for separation bit absurd. But, the separation reason seems either too strong for the characters to harbor that intense level of supposed "hatred."

I found the one thing is the acting is okay (of Cezanne & Rajshree) but storyline execution seemed deficient. I mean, the kids are okay too think about the difference of life in living with both parents vs single parent (who declared the other parent as dead). But, the only one whom I found somewhat sensible was Badal who was somewhat neutral in terms of Nikhil appearing after 19 years wherein he was cognizant that there is also flaws on their side & Nikhil's side. Nikhil had the choice to reject meeting Barkha but did so for Barkha. (Though he did wrong in jeopardizing his education for Barkha's sake, even though the intent was right. I feel he appears less interested in studies and more into cooking.)

Barkha & Gagan were busy blaming Pallavi whereas Pallavi was blaming Nikhil. Too much energy exhausted on blaming one person lol. 😂

@Arch_3186 : I wouldn't be much surprised if that angle is the reason or a fabricated storyline to develop the reason for separation.

I too was thinking his sister might be the reason but looking at the similarities between IKNMP and this show I doubt that. Even in iknmp sis was shown quite negative in the beginning and she didn't like her bro's wife but she wasn't the reason for separation. For me the backstory looked very lame. I just hope here they have a stronger backstory and something other than 3rd angle, 4th angle or cheating. Then it would just be a blatant copy of iknmp.

And it is being stressed that what happened wasn't "normal" so I hope they have a story to match the buildup.

Also I think Pallavi hates him more or probably she is the more expressive one. But the way Nik talks it feels like Pallavi wanted to separate and not him.
