Someone here on IF mentioned that he walked out of Ek Villain2 to do this movie. I think he just wanted an action flick entirely focused on him and took a gamble on this one. If they start promoting it aggressively it might do well enough for him.

He and Sid both tried to emulate pre-pandemic success of John. But John and Akki's deshprem action films flopping has ruined everything for ARK and Sid. If I'm not wrong Sid's next few movies are also John's type movies.

Yodha is except it’s a Dharma movie so it will probably look more polished. Mission Manju might be. It’s supposed to be an espionage thriller so sort of like John’s movies but not entirely. Thank God is a family comedy or a dramedy. Of all his upcoming projects the web series with Rohit Shetty is probably the most John like movie, but Rohit Shetty style.
