A question regarding Imlie's college

What happened to Imlie's degree?

She was a first year student who started her internship, then she became free lancing featured writer. Later Aryan promoted her to some editorial position.

Between Imlie's divorce, remarriage and now pregnancy a year has elapsed. So she should be in her second year, assuming she is still pursuing her journalism degree.

I can understand if the makers don't want to move forward with the college track but did they ever mention anything in the episode regarding her studies. I have stopped watching full episodes so not sure if it was ever mentioned in the show after her marriage with Aryan.

During the PD episode, when Aryan was defending Imlie against the mob, while narrating the finer qualities of Imlie, he mentions that she got her degree.

So, I guess that was a nod by the makers that Imlie finished her degree.

Maybe after all that state second boasting, she might have been doing some diploma course!

Even in college centric shows, they don't show students studying, ye toh tab bhi family drama hai.

College, education, office, job all become secondary when characters get married

another missed opportunity. it’d have been pretty fun to watch Imlie attending college as a married woman, with Aryan dropping her off at college everyday. her living the average student life, making friends and helping them with both school and their personal issues, organising school events, just having fun. and Aryan doing his own thing, being a boss at work, but also aiding and guiding Imlie at times when she’d need it. how interesting that’d have been. sigh.
