I am surprised by the lack of response to Ayesha's performance in the recent episode. Maybe its coz like me many have stopped watching full episodes and only seeing clips here n there or reading reviews.
I thought Ayesha was absolutely wonderful acting wise.
The dejection that V rejected her call, the forced fake smile when aai walked in , the way she sighs and deflates once she realizes she can be real coz Aai has seen through the facade, her innocent worry saying shes trying her best but she feels like he doesn't even want to be in the same room, the maturity n clarity to accept a suggestion to go to a counselor.
That point where she tells Aai- yeh dukh ki lakeer kaunsi hai .... Reminded me of that very poignant emotional scene in Masaan where vicky kaushal says yeh dukh kaahe khatam hi nahi hota as he sits on the ghats mourning death of his girlfriend...
That scene was well performed by both but Ayesha was phenomenal.
Then the direct point blank way in which she tells V that all the baby stuff needs to go so that he doesn't keep hurting himself looking at it and then that honest straight forward appeal to him- you are distancing yourself, i dont want to be away from you and finally , I cant watch our relationship break!
Every little bit was performed so realistically by Ayesha. No OTT Expressions..she legit looks like an exhausted person who is burdened by too much on her plate and the weight of her own pain, guilt and sadness.
Kudos Ayesha Singh the actor! She shines as always ♥️
