I started watching the show from the very first episode and was blown away by how good Neil was. He was natural and embodied the IPS officer very well. Aishwarya and Ayesha seemed very meh to me. Soon, Ayesha improved but Aishwarya just got worse. Since last July, Neil has been so phenomenally bad. His expressions are contrived, he looks disinterested, and the Sairat chemistry is just gone. Aishwarya is so so bad. Her voice modulation, expressions everything is just pathetic. As for Ayesha, she seems to get the least criticism because she's a fan fav. She's mine too but her acting is nothing to write home about. Her voice is shrill and squeaky, and the way she says her dialogues is boring, ek dum ruk rukke.

Now why am I ranting? Bad storylines is nothing ITV hasn't seen before but at least there was a saving grace in terms of chemistry and acting. Yahan toh kuch bhi nahin hai. Except for Siddharth, everyone is so bad. Sheetal is okay but doesn't have much of a role. These actors have been playing the characters for almost two years now. Nobody is expecting Kamal Haasan/ Tabu/ Sridevi level of acting but itna cringe is also intolerable.

Neil was so good and his fall in performance is shocking to say the least. Who goes from so good to so bad??

DITTO..

All three actors are bad now. Ayesha is liked because both the character and her off screen demeanor is positive, but she is not like one of those Ekta findings, who end up being so damn good actor.

Aishwarya less spoken, the better.

Neil ka kya bolu, I saw him going down since around the same time you did. And when the show started I was worried for him that his leads, might take a good show down for him. How do you forget acting is a case study here..

Agree. I always found Aishwarya lacking the acting skills for the complex emotions her character is supposed to perform. She always looks one-dimensional to me.

Ayesha has improved a lot.

Initially it was Neil who brought in the right temperament of a IPS officer. He was good.

Now, this husband role is looking forced. His happiness or romance or love is looking lackluster.

I can't feel his emotions.

Note: don't watch any of Neil-Aish BTS, reels or shows. Its only this show I see all the 3.

I agree saw one of the funeral episodes on tv and realized Ayesha has gone downhill too. She's nowhere close to other Ekta/Gul serial newbies who tend to excel after one year, by now she should have more control of her voice and dialogue delivery. Her expressions are good.

I was watching a show on colors recently and noticed they all act even as newcomers. Their stories might be crap but you can connect with their acting. Even that new FL of choti sardarni is good it's her second serial I guess.

Most of the time people are frustrated with Virat's character other than his lack of a spine is the way Neil is portraying him currently. His face looks tired, sleepy or completely disinterested. Neither does he give the correct expressions at the correct time and we're left wondering whether he even loves Sai. I found he was overacting a bit during recent FB scenes it looked like fake enthusiasm from both him and Ayesha.

Now why am I ranting? Bad storylines is nothing ITV hasn't seen before but at least there was a saving grace in terms of chemistry and acting. Yahan toh kuch bhi nahin hai.

^Exactly this I don't see any chemistry between the leads even during their much awaited confession, marriage or SR sequences. They had more chemistry when they fought like cats and dogs or even in that pillow fort scene in the past. We don't get good leads chemistry/scenes, good acting nor any good offscreen content for time pass. Surrogacy track could've been tolerated if he stood by her and fought together.

Agreed... Ayesha’s acting and expression wrt emotional scenes are OTT sometimes.. doesn’t look good..she fails to create an emotional reaction rather it comes forced and cringe..like someone has kept a gun on her head and she’s reading dialogues.

Neil is bad — the less said is better...

Aishwarya: her acting skills are worst for both as a third angle and vamp!

Kishore: 🤭my lips are sealed.. All she has done in 1.5 years is showing OTT screaming expressions. She might need a botox after the show ends..i feel bad for her facial features!

Shailesh, Sneha, Sachin, Sheetal don't get much SS tho they are good actors..

The guy who plays sunny (Jitendra) is a good actor thou he’s more of a recurring cast...

18-19-year-old teenagers on Channel V from ten years ago use to act better than these three people combined! I said what I said!! 👍🏼

Agreed! The initial episodes were gold in terms of everything, right touch of positivity and drama, and also great acting. Ayesha excelled in scenes that asked her to be chirpy or fun loving, some scenes were ott, but I saw her improve in initial episodes. Neil was so great in the initial episodes, he literally gave the perfect police officer sort of vibes. Barring the initial episodes, Aish had been somewhat okay in some episodes towards the middle. But anyways, these days nothing is hitting the right cord.

I think Kishore has still maintained her acting too, but the messed up storyline hasn't left much for her. But she is a good screen presence. They have really under utilized some actors, like Sheetal, she can do great if given scenes, also Sachin and Tanvi can do good too. They are bringing in some good actors but not using them properly.

Re entry of Sid could have been a high moment too, but they couldn't keep up the momentum, and everything went downhill. I had discontinued for a while, but Jagtap entry gave me hopes for Sairat charm to be revived, but i guess it's lost forever, probably from Ajinkya incident, it actually died a slow death. Disinterested acting, lack of passion in scenes.

I would still watch their early marriage fight scenes rather than the new episodes. I even skipped most of their confession part, which should have been one of the highest moment of the show, given the fact that it belongs to romance genre. I lost my faith in romance genre after this.😆

Honestly, I appreciate Ayesha for her way of interaction, and the character of Sai is being loved for being the way she is, but I am not able to connect with this Sai anymore, maybe it's not being emoted properly, not keeping up with current episodes so can't say properly, just watched clips on IG.

There have been worse storylines in history of ITV, with random kidnappings/murders etc. but those shows still rules because of the way the actors emoted. Ghum for the past few weeks had really high point of drama, and suspense, irrespective of the end result, if the Sairat charm had been there it would have ruled the charts probably.

The pillow fort scene, the Amey fight, ladakh trip scene and similar have a re-watchability of thousand times, both Neil and Ayesha were phenomenal in those. It's like Sairat pulled me into the show and they pushed me out of it too.

Love for all those people, who are still watching, hoping for the story to improve for them.

Sunny, Sachin are good positive screen presence. Nowadays they are like behti hawa sa tha woh kaha gaya usse dhundo. 😆

They are giving more scenes to people who can give negative vibes, 😆

Kishori Shahane and Shailesh Datar are fab actors. Baki rest are either just above average and below average.

Aishwarya and Vihaan are tiktokers so I don't count them as actors.
