I started watching the show from the very first episode and was blown away by how good Neil was. He was natural and embodied the IPS officer very well. Aishwarya and Ayesha seemed very meh to me. Soon, Ayesha improved but Aishwarya just got worse. Since last July, Neil has been so phenomenally bad. His expressions are contrived, he looks disinterested, and the Sairat chemistry is just gone. Aishwarya is so so bad. Her voice modulation, expressions everything is just pathetic. As for Ayesha, she seems to get the least criticism because she's a fan fav. She's mine too but her acting is nothing to write home about. Her voice is shrill and squeaky, and the way she says her dialogues is boring, ek dum ruk rukke.
Now why am I ranting? Bad storylines is nothing ITV hasn't seen before but at least there was a saving grace in terms of chemistry and acting. Yahan toh kuch bhi nahin hai. Except for Siddharth, everyone is so bad. Sheetal is okay but doesn't have much of a role. These actors have been playing the characters for almost two years now. Nobody is expecting Kamal Haasan/ Tabu/ Sridevi level of acting but itna cringe is also intolerable.
Neil was so good and his fall in performance is shocking to say the least. Who goes from so good to so bad??

Agreed! The initial episodes were gold in terms of everything, right touch of positivity and drama, and also great acting. Ayesha excelled in scenes that asked her to be chirpy or fun loving, some scenes were ott, but I saw her improve in initial episodes. Neil was so great in the initial episodes, he literally gave the perfect police officer sort of vibes. Barring the initial episodes, Aish had been somewhat okay in some episodes towards the middle. But anyways, these days nothing is hitting the right cord.
I think Kishore has still maintained her acting too, but the messed up storyline hasn't left much for her. But she is a good screen presence. They have really under utilized some actors, like Sheetal, she can do great if given scenes, also Sachin and Tanvi can do good too. They are bringing in some good actors but not using them properly.
Re entry of Sid could have been a high moment too, but they couldn't keep up the momentum, and everything went downhill. I had discontinued for a while, but Jagtap entry gave me hopes for Sairat charm to be revived, but i guess it's lost forever, probably from Ajinkya incident, it actually died a slow death. Disinterested acting, lack of passion in scenes.
I would still watch their early marriage fight scenes rather than the new episodes. I even skipped most of their confession part, which should have been one of the highest moment of the show, given the fact that it belongs to romance genre. I lost my faith in romance genre after this.😆
Honestly, I appreciate Ayesha for her way of interaction, and the character of Sai is being loved for being the way she is, but I am not able to connect with this Sai anymore, maybe it's not being emoted properly, not keeping up with current episodes so can't say properly, just watched clips on IG.
There have been worse storylines in history of ITV, with random kidnappings/murders etc. but those shows still rules because of the way the actors emoted. Ghum for the past few weeks had really high point of drama, and suspense, irrespective of the end result, if the Sairat charm had been there it would have ruled the charts probably.
The pillow fort scene, the Amey fight, ladakh trip scene and similar have a re-watchability of thousand times, both Neil and Ayesha were phenomenal in those. It's like Sairat pulled me into the show and they pushed me out of it too.
Love for all those people, who are still watching, hoping for the story to improve for them.
