TBH Modi is the weakest PM this country has ever seen when it comes to foreign relations. Him bending over backwards to appease the OIC & the Islamic Union is an embarrasment for the whole country...not just his party. I remember in 2009 when OIC tried meddling in Kashmir, MMS literally told them to F off.
This sets a terrible precedent, with our Envoy's & Ambassadors being summoned over a dumb talk show. Politics should not meddle with executive agencies. Indian ambassadors do not get summoned. Period
This is the third time Modi has given into International pressure in the past year. Ignoring China's advances or North American pressure on the farm laws.
Nupur may have been out of line, but she was replying in kind & was factually correct. BJP isn't going anywhere for decades. Instead of further international embarassment...Modi should hire some educated diplomats to deal with international pressure/controversies while he stays home and keeps giving his 8 hr long factually incorrect speeches. And maybe grow a pair.
I know there is lot of public anger currently due to this..but just think from the other perspective. India's efforts to be self reliant r facing constant roadblocks n hurdles..kuch bhi reform ho protests pehle Shuru ho jaate hai.
Just imagine if our country goes the way of our neighboring countries what do we do..we r a population of more than 130 crore..kahan jaayenge hum..it's easy for people staying out of India to abuse n criticize him..whatever indices r brought fwd by foreign journals ranking India low...people living in India should know better.
He takes in abuses day in n day out both by his followers n critics...inflation has increased over the world but many of us r able to afford our basic needs..and those who can't r provided free ration by govt..many followers criticize those freebies but its better to feed those who need rather than giving free bijli paani to a whole city where many citizens can very well pay for it.
If we r not forced to swallow our pride and scramble for our basic needs on a daily basis we should ponder over the reasons and be thankful for them.
Also..in 2009 did we even imagine it would be possible for tourists to visit Kashmir so easily? Today at least there is hope that the paradise can get back it's glory
