Nothing really confusing. Producers could make money through other sources like satellite, OTT, music rights. Distributors and exhibitors make profit only through theatrical business and verdict is given on the basis of profit made by distributors. Atleast till pre-covid.😆

They're not really against SRK. BOI has put SRK on the top of their list of biggest superstars of all time (1994-present).

Ranveer yes, they've constantly shown they don't like him the way they bash his movies and even downplay the success of his films.

I think they like Ranbir as well, the way they posted a special article on him to give him credit for the success of Sanju.😆

But Salman love is real. They deliberately reduced the figures of War, PK and Sanju so that it couldn't cross the figures of TZH, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan and Salman could have bigger grossers.

According to producers, PK and Sanju are bigger grossers than TZH, and War is bigger grosser than BB and Sultan, but according to BOI they aren't.😆

That's how it should be..if it's a theatrical release how can they not count losses to distributors and exhibitors

Seems article didn’t mention the cost of d film sold to distributors, it mean to say it recovered costs .
