I don’t know why else he would be this upset with her? It’s not like he wanted this truth to be a secret forever? I am sure if he would have found out first, then even he would have told neil and everyone about it. So his problem is definitely not that ak revealed it.

He also cannot be upset that ak revealed it on founders day for it to become a public info/scene. Because he himself went and shouted in front of media about the truth.

He also cannot be this upset that manajri and neil are hurt because of akshara’s way of revealing the truth. Because whenever and however the truth would have come out, neil still would have had the same questions for manajri and Manjari still would have had to answer everybody on why she hid this all these years.

so the only other reason I found on why he might be this much upset with her is due to the fact that she got involved in this mess and now he can’t bear it when her name is dragged through the mud.. and his disappointment of her not keeping his promise to stay away from his family kachra is adding to his anger.

I think there is a bit of that in his anger. His mother blamed Akshu and he called the lab and found out she had the report. So in his mind (wrongly) he has made up the situation that she broke her promise and got involved. So now he cannot defend her against his mother nor anyone else should they taunt her about it. And he is upset that she got involved and it hurt his mother and caused this ruckus at home.

100% agree Abhimanyu has to hear out Akshu. She did not tell. She fought with Neil to keep the report away. He went to check facts but the most important person that he should have gone to first was the person being accused.

When one partner in a loving and giving relationship is trying to make amends by hugging and showing affection I feel you must accept it - you may not be in a frame of mind to reciprocate but don’t shut off physical contact like it’s a punishment for good/ bad behavior. Your issue is with the behavior, address that but if you are in a loving giving relationship you will accept comforting affection.

To me, when a partner is clearly in such an emotional state and trying to get you to talk to them, showing them a hand like that is quite disrespectful. I am not saying that Abhi is disrespectful as a person, but I am saying that the action he took out of his own pain probably deeply hurt Akshu as the woman who loves him with her whole heart, a person who herself needed to be comforted in that moment, and as his wife.

No means no, and he did not want to get intimate in that moment. Akshu's intention I don't think was to get intimate anyways. She was simply trying to calm him down and show him she loves him so that he would be willing to listen to her. It was not a romantic gesture according to me, but rather an emotional one.

Neither one of them were wrong in that entire scene, but looking at it from Akshu's POV, the hand gesture just really did not sit well with me.

Anyways, I love that we can always be respectful and discuss these things!

When he took that promise from her, he told her to just focus on him and his maa. Just like the anniversary kaand, he was put in a tough spot because Akshu hurt Manjari -- he always knew her intentions were pure, but he was caught in between the 2 people he loves the most. He wanted to talk to Akshu and forgive her immediately, but he couldn't, because Manjari is hurt. The same situation has arisen now in his mind.

I think what hurts him the most is that he knows Akshu's heart but these messes are still created so he is left helpless. But that is exactly the reason he needs to start hearing her out so that he can realize and understand that Akshu is not responsible.
