If you are talking about appreciation then 83 was appropriated by many like 90% who saw the movie but due to its budget movie is declared flop.

The hoops they are jumping through not to use the words flop or disaster for this movie is amazing, yet not surprising. BOI started this with Gangubai. On its first day Gangubai was declared a success because of Sattalite, music, and digital rights. Now Prithviraj is “recovering its cost”. 🤣

I don’t know. My speculations is it was never anything against 83. They were probably just honest about 83. I’m guessing the marketing team for Gangu and Prithviraj asked them to play around with words and find a way to declare the movies a success.

How were they about Jayeshbai? If they were honest and direct about that one then maybe they aren’t accommodating YRF but rather Akshay Kumar. And maybe they weren’t accommodating SLB but rather Alia though I don’t know if Alia has that kind of power 🤷🏽‍♀️
