I totally relate .. I was like is he not the main lead ??? and when he came I paused the screen and noted the time .. he came exactly after our 1 hr 16 min 🤣 but oh man it was worth it !! ⭐️

Yes. Prithviraj revealed it in the promotional event. and in the movie also they made it clear that “it’s just the beginning “😆

Watched Tulsidas Hindi movie.

I would rate it 8/10.

Law & Order: SVU S22

SVU premiered the year I got my green card and has been a staple since I moved to the states. The holidays meant binging on SVU marathons.

I was worried that post the anti-police movement of 2020 would make cop shows canceled or obsolete. I'm glad SVU is still going strong. S23 just concluded and it just got renewed for 2 more.

S22 set mostly over the pandemic does do a sensitive reckoning of policing. It combines some ripped from the headlines moments to introspect on the implicit biases that even good cops have. SVU is also one of the few shows that have done a good job of addressing male victims of domestic and sexual violence, without teetering into misogyny territory.

Also, there is the return of Stabler. He's not coming back as a regular but for his own spin-off. But it's good to see him back. But SVU also brilliantly uses his return to explore the evolution of policing. I loved Stabler and cheered him on when he would pummel a pedophile, but in retrospect, I know that his hot-blooded behavior is one of the problems with policing. I love how the Law & Order franchise uses Stabler to explore the shift.

The Flight Attendant S1

As much as I love TBBT, I am glad it ended so we can enjoy Kaley Cuoco being a hot mess as the Flight Attendant.

The alcoholic hot mess is one of the new female stock characters in suspense thrillers. It's even being parodied. But the Flight Attendant shows why this character can be so compelling and entertaining.

Cassie Bowden is erratic, impulsive, selfish, and a raging alcoholic. Her alcoholic behavior leads her to a one-night stand where she gets blackout drunk and wakes up next to the bloody corpse of her hookup. No matter what she does she keeps getting herself deeper into trouble.

She's unlikeable but her trauma both from her abusive childhood and the more recent trauma of waking next to a dead date makes her compelling and sympathetic. The show starts of slow, but once it gets going, it's a wild ride sucking you in.

The first episode is a whirlwind. But 2 and 3 slow down a bit. But by the end of the third, it's a whirlwind again. I think it's worth it. A few people I know were actually screaming at Cassie on screen because of her behavior. She gets under your skin and worked up and involved.

If any of you gave up “This is us”, I beg you please go back and finish it! This show is an emotional rollercoaster and I don’t think i’ve ever seen a show deal with as many topics as this show did. From BLM, dealing with loss, growing apart, alcoholism, childhood love, PTSD, bulimia etc this show deals with it all and with such style. Strongly recommend - absolutely legendary show. I’ll miss the big three😢

A show that dealt with BLM in the best way possible. That whole conversation between Randall and Kevin-Kate was the best thing of season 5.
