Though I am a Gashmeer fan, I am very well aware of the fact that he quit the show voluntarily, and now has moved on to other things. As insignificant as the Tripathis were, they were still around to add to the drama, move the story along nicely and then of course, showing Imlie as a strong character who was trying to set things in her life right on her own (with Aryan's help, of course).

But now, the story has gotten extremely cyclic. Narmada's characterization is not consistent. One day she is jubiliant about the prospect of getting a grandchild, the next day she is going and saying extremely mean things to Imlie and the day after, she is planning a god bharaai. Sundar seems like he has a job only because his wife is also in the serial, and they wanted to somehow cash in on the fact that they are a real life couple also!

Malini and Anu, as villainous as they were, they were classy. Malini especially, she was splendid in her role as the antagonist, and the build up of her villainy was very well executed, that everyone was looking forward to the day when her crimes would be out in the open. We must credit Gash here also for the acting he delivered, where in he was blindly trusting Malini and there was something for the audience to look forward to, to see how he would deliver when Malini's crimes come out in the open. Contrast that with the current antagonists. The plots they supposedly hatch are so childish and stupid. It is a wonder how Aryan doesn't see through them and throws them out of his house. There is absolutely zero build up, it is like in today's episode she hatches some nonsensical scheme like adding poison to food, or cutting off a tree branch, and predictably, Aryan goes and either hugs Imlie out of danger or catchers a falling Imlie with plenty of hugging and physical intimacy thrown in, for added effect. No wonder the audience are bored! I only read the written updates, and even that I find boring.

Fahmaan and Sumbul are good actors and they deserve a better plot. Yes, they have good chemistry, but overdoing the physical touches, the nok-jhok, the barrage of idiotic schemes from these supposed villains are really not doing any justice to the actors.

I wish they hadn't rushed with this nonsense pregnancy and flip flopping of whether she really is pregnant or not. Or with Aryan's infertility reports, I wish they would have at least kept it a mystery from the audience, so that we along with everyone else would also have been wondering how Imlie did get pregnant and will have some interest in continuing to follow the show, and revealed later on to be a scheme from a less obvious vamp. Or instead of just randomly having Aryan promote Imlie (sure, no conflict of interest there!!!), show some drama of a professional rivalry between the two, provide scope for Aryan to show 2 different faces of his, one as a ruthless boss who holds no bars even if it is for his wife who is is his employee, and the other as a loving husband, and show how the 2 navigate through these 2 different relationships. Endless possibilities, but alas..... they chooe an endless loop of poojas, celebrations, idiotic scheming and Imlie getting pregnant every 2 days!!

Rant over. I am too involved for someone who doesn't even watch this damn show!

Perfectly said! Shows struggle after ML exit and here it was an excellent actor - GM. Imlie makers brilliantly made the transition to FK in a way that almost seemed that it was the shows original intent. A lot of factors played into their ability to do this...dearth of physical intimacy scenes between Adilie, Adi's dumb portrayal, Imlie's suffering.

The vamps have seriously derailed this show from its tracks. They are nonsensical and so slapstick..no semblance to reality. Where will you see someone like BM tolerated by the children of the house or Jo's so called obsession with Aryan resurrecting after 7 years of no contact.

The whole baby, miscarriage, infertility track has been cringe with zero entertainment. Romance needs the right story and setting. Falling all over each other is not it. There was more chemistry between the leads when they were not in love.

Happy sad with TRP. Happy as I would not have liked to see TRP rising for a nasty track like this one, Sad for losing out on FK ST chemistry so abruptly.

If they don't get their act together with new cast after ousting out BD, BM and Jo - this show will not survive much longer in the top. Hard to see a show go down like this.

not a single point i disagree with 👏 i feel like itv misses out on so much drama n good story telling by ignoring the work n career aspect of a woman. A FL will either start out ambitious about career or working in profession. But only as long as she doesn’t get married. Then everything in her life turns into kitchen politics pregnancy puja vrat weddings etc.

So agree… the PH is taking the show for granted. So many people are just rolling eyes and FF the show these days… no budgets too … FL is wearing the same sarees/blouses on repeat twice a week. Having said that, I do believe SK and FK have immense potential and can do wonders with a good plot.

Also for the eyebrow lift of ML, countless girls are crazy for that scar and lift of his… isn’t that the purpose? Isn’t he there to attract more fandom along with his acting skills.

I liked GM once but the way he has ridiculed the show and the platform/show after his exit, I have lost all respect. He has become arrogant and the way he talks bad about the medium, I kinda think he had some conditions which PH didn’t agree too and he left with half heart. If he was a real sport, he wouldn’t have bad mouthed a business which is still running… NOT COOL. Lot of people didn’t know him before Imlie, he gained popularity and the 1500 comments per pic in IG as he says we’re coz of Imlie, he shouldn’t forget that. Arrogant people always get lost in crowd… there are lot of stories as examples.

When he left the show, he didn't say anything bad about the show, he said only good things about imlie team, you can check out his exit interview, in case you haven't. He actually told his fans personally that they should continue watching this show for sumbul atleast. Also, he has done some projects in the past even before imlie of which he isn't proud of doing. If he takes a dig at something on sm that can be for them also. Stop relating everything to imlie. He has moved on from it. Focusing on other things in life.

Please bother to read my statement twice… I clearly said I think…it means I am assuming…I never said it’s the reason but I think of it like that.

Also, please try to go through the recent interviews of his… he clearly said he wishes he never has to go back to TV again due to low bank balance because of which he earlier did TV and will do a story only if it’s sane and has a defined end …different perceptions here…I will take it as he disrespected the TV actors , their profession and ITV stories insane. Well let’s not argue if the stories are really insane, we can save that for later. I have never ever heard SRK talking about TV bad while he started from there and became king khan. It’s my personal view that I found GMs recent interviews arrogant.

I am sharing my POV and you can stay happy with yours. I am not forcing my opinion on anyone.I am mature enough to understand people can have different perspectives and we needn’t argue about that. We can all share what we think without telling the other person is wrong. Just that I am a practical person and call out any person I may be a fan of if don’t like anything….never want to be a blind fan!!
