Ok, peeps... i know discussion BB tak pahuch gaya hai, maarna maat - but I wanted to share this:)
I watched the 3 episodes again - after knowing that adoption did not happen and they didn't fly back with a young child from their honeymoon trip - which was sukoon. I am a lot calmer - yes didn't like the timing but I imagined that these lovelies went on a business trip and went to see this orphanage where they had been donating for years - types scenario.
I also left out the loopholes that we've all discussed throughout the week, the Anu 3.0 cliches called it logicless creative liberties for BV, and left it there.
I always envisioned Anu/Anuj having an adopted kid (he was adopted and its a good social message), kept my biases aside, and enjoyed the episodes.
GK/RG's acting is top-notch, this is his journey and what he feels, and having Anupamaa by his side gives him the confidence to speak his mind. In my opinion, in a relationship especially marriage, Trust and loyalty are the foundation, because it allows you to be vulnerable and open up to the person without having to defensively protect yourself, you feel safe with your partner and have confidence that they will not hurt or violate you.
In each episode, they each bear their heart and soul, the connection they made with young Anu, his yearning to adopt, discuss various uphill battles,eg need to be in good health and the energy to care for children until adulthood, nurturing values, the time commitment, etc eventually they come to a joint decision - that they were ready to take on the challenge.
When they ask young Anu if she would like to join their family and complete their rainbow - and the young child embraces Anuj's open arms in response that was priceless. They both will make great parents whenever it happens.
In the end, if this track helps adopt 1 child, would be great, at the very least it makes the adoption conversation a discussion point for families because as Anuj said only 1% adopt in India vs here in the US 1 in 25 families have an adopted child in their family.
The man, his swag in suits, is uff uff ufff...
Ok enough of fangirling, back to trolling now
On a lighter note: Honeymoon pe kiya na nahi is still the biggest question! coz at the doorstep, Anu says, that she's not old, she's enjoying her HM and he responds by saying that he didn't know she was on her honeymoon - and proceeds to ask her, what do ppl do on their honeymoon?
She declines to answer and he says, 'Mein bataon?' and proceeds to kiss her!
Seriously we are still on this topic after 5 freaking episodes!! Someone enlighten me.
Wait BB is coming - maybe she'll enlighten us in a couple of hours:)
I know what answer I want to hear and so, I am living in DJ, and Rups MaAn worlds:)
