KHKT me they showed dysfunctional fam quite well apart from KHKT i loved dysfunctional family in pyaar ka dard hai

Their fam was much more realistic than any other dysfunctional fam in itv

ML's mother avantika was divorcee and used to run her dad's business

Her brother anuj was quite incapable, so she became MD

Her lil unmarried sis preeti who was in mid 30's doesnt have any interest in family business so she only used to do party and enjoy with friends

Her son adi doesnt blv in marriage system bcz of his divorced parents and asks his fiancee that what will be her conditions if anyone of them wants divorce on their first date only

Her husband harish is stand up comedian, he loves his son & wife but they got seperated bcz of misunderstanding

Anuj's wife sheila comes from small town nd she is very greedy person who wants control over whole deewan mansion

Anuj's son rubel is spoilt brat child, a negative one

Daughter kaira is grey shaded character, who always avoid being at home bcz she used to think that her grandfather killed her grandmother

Here everyone have their own character, they have their own motives, they are not clowns.... They all have their own problems to solve

And here in banni.... All characters have only one motive to support manini nd to torture yuvan 😒😒

Mai abhi bas likhne hi wala thaa that even KHKT had a dysfunctional family but all were not negative characters.

Veena was a housewife and a positive character. Naren was the biggest gynaec surgeon of the city so he was mostly out of the city but had a good character graph, he was grey.

Rohit, a very popular heart surgeon who was grey and always had a negative approach towards life.

Nishi and YK had an age gap marriage and Pooja was their foster daughter. Nishi became negative but initially she was always planned grey positive, YK was always positive. Nishi was cosmetologist and YK was in charge of hospital duties.

Rohan who was a builder and the 2nd son had an affair with Pooja but he was always a grey character. Tanya was very independent, modern but a positive woman, a jewllery designer.

Ajit (i felt like he was gay but they never shown it) looked very young but he had a good character graph too, he was not only a student but a board member of Sippy hospital and was well aware of his duties.

Pooja was a fashionista but a very vibrant and positive girl. She had her own fashion boutique.

All the characters were written very well in Khkt.

Wahi toh. Om and Priyanka were into drugs stuff but they only teased that topic and left in it loop. Otherwise Oberoi family had a very good dysfunctional family graph.

Still i appreciate SSP because only they know what kind of cringe product they picked for adaptation. SSP changed that cringe script and gave it a very larger than life real feel with so many changes. I mean blues shows have sickening characterizations, awful direction and screenplay, SSP made that same script into an enjoyable one.
