Just another little writeup I wrote based on the phone conversation between Mehak and Shamsher...which is now infamous as the "phone sex" scene 🤡🤪

This one is from Shamsher's viewpoint and its my take on what goes on in his head 😆 I've added a few things of my own because well...that's how I see him.

1. There is no glorification of the character

2. There was no phone sex, I can't understand why people were losing their shit over it 🤡

Call Out My Name

Shamsher

‘Hello?’

‘Shamsher?’

I was prepared for anything in this damn world. But what I was not prepared for was to hear Mehak say my name. Sham-Sher. Two syllables. Nothing too fancy. Yet she made it sound beautiful. Warmth spread through out my insides, a thousand emotions surrounded me. I could have happily died this very second, but I was a very greedy man.

‘Say it again?’

‘My father has been locked up by the police. Did you get him arrested? My father is a heart patient, he doesn’t even have his medicines with him. Please…release him somehow.’

‘No…not that.’ Why was she breaking my trance? ‘Say what you were saying earlier.’

‘Dad—’

‘No,’ I cut her off instantly. ‘Not about your dad. Say my name.’

‘Name?’ She asked, clearly confused. Not that I blamed her. It must have been a tough day for her and I take full credit for it.

I resisted the urge to roll my eyes. Obviously I did not break her brain! ‘Yes, name.’

‘Shamsher.’

There it was. Again in her soft gentle voice. Caressing my ear drums. Engulfing me in its magic.

A huge smile crept across my face, one which I had no control over. I closed my eyes, imagining her face as I replayed her saying my name once more.

‘Say it again.’

Mehak’s voice broke, ‘What have I done so wrong to you?’

I felt my anger bubbling inside of me, threatening to take over my mind. I knew it would cause me to really harm her father, maybe get him a lifelong jail term, or even leave him penniless…which I could not afford to do. After all, he was my father-in-law. Or well…soon to be father-in-law. The technicalities did not bother me. In my mind, she was already mine. And it would soon be reality too.

‘If you say anything other than my name right now, your father will rot in prison for the rest of his life.’ There. The slight threat should do the trick. ‘Say my name.’

‘Shamsher’

Peace. Tranquility. Heaven.

‘Once again.’

‘Shamsher,’ Mehak sniffled.

The animal in me stirred and was wide awake in no time. Such innocence and purity. Such untainted goodness. Such a rarity in today’s world. Such a prize.

It was safe to say I wanted it. I wanted it all. More than anything else I have ever wanted. This is what I had been dreaming of since the day my eyes fell on her. I wanted to show her what she meant to me. Hold those hands that had never been held before. Claim those beautiful eyes so that all she would want to see is me. Possess her being completely until she was madly in love with me the way I was with her.

But until that happens, I knew I wanted more.

‘Say it with love,’ I commanded her.

‘Shamsher,’ she said bleakly, her voice cracking as she said the second syllable.

None of that bothered me. I was beyond ecstatic. Mehak had made me the happiest man on the planet. Could she not already see or feel what I did? Surely she would have to.

‘Your father will be home tomorrow morning.’

Hopefully that would stop her worries and tears. I disconnected the call and sat quietly for a few minutes, playing her voice in my head on loop.

Shamsher…Shamsher…Shamsher…

Aah, the way she said it.

None of the women I had crossed paths with had made me feel this way, ever. Do not get me wrong, they were not bad in any way, as a matter of fact they were quite good to me. I gave them what they wanted— luxurious gifts, wining and dining at the most expensive restaurants in town, sometimes even a holiday abroad together. And in return, I got what I wanted. That was how the animal in me stayed calm. No strings attached, no emotions involved. Especially not love.

But Mehak…oh my sweet innocent Mehak.

She was it for me. I was sure.

Just one mere look was enough for me to know what love is.

I could not wait to make her wear the ring which would tie her name with mine.

I could not wait to call her “Mrs Shamsher”.

I could not wait to have her by my side every day.

I could not wait to...

Most of all, I could wait to make her mine.

These thoughts could wait for later, I told myself. I had something more important to do. Get the inspector to release her father tomorrow and not harm him. Hopefully father-in-law had not experienced anything unpleasant. And if he had then…well, that would help him chose me over that sissy fiancee of hers.

At that very moment, my phone buzzed, a text message popped up from a “friend”.

From: Luau
Marriott @12? Same suite…food and drinks

Was hoping we could see each other tonight, Shamsher.

My pride smiled at the desperation reeking through my phone screen. Not that it was surprising, none of my hook ups ever left the hotel room unsated. And this girl, Luau was no different. I do not remember her name neither did I bother asking her again. But what I do remember is meeting her in Hawaii during one of the wildest Luau festivals of my life. That was how she got that nickname.

Still…she was a nice person, decent enough. Did not annoy me, get on my nerves or try invade my personal space. So I chose to reply to her and end whatever we had. After all, I was a changed man now, a one woman man.

To: Luau
Sorry babe, can’t go on with this anymore. Have a good life.

Still grinning to myself, I called the inspector with further instructions. Shahmeer was waiting for me indoors anyways, so I guess I could go out for a drink…maybe snort a few lines.

All of this while thinking of my Mehak…sounds like a plan.

The wedding is finally happening and Ahsan's father, Rehan is also on board. One thing that I really liked about Rehan was that he doesn't let his wife suppress him. Its nice to see him as a positive character. And his wife's name...Andaleeb right? That means Nightingale? She caws more like a crow Can't believe she actually made matters worse! And then played victim when her son was kidnapped

Ahsan in the beginning made me laugh so hard when he said "uncle aap phone karte, main sabak sikhane aa jaata" like bro, you didn't have the balls to show up when Mehak called you, why do you even fake being a Dabangg

Anyways moving on to the wedding...Mehak looked gorgeous. DurE's makeup artist, Noman has done such a fabulous job! Even the getup on the terrace when she is crying in front of Ahsan she looked beautiful. Her makeup actually looks like skin and not caked on foundation

And then...well villain ki entry Shamsher reaching the mohalla, scaring the shit out of everyone and then dragging Ahsan by the collar...I gotta say, I was so happy Okay hear me out, this same actor's character used to piss me off in Ishq Hai jab he used to do "Isra Isra Isra"...and even the actor was annoying af So I was legit imagining Shahzaib dragging Haaris out like that

Then coming to the warehouse scene. Danish really is playing Shamsher as bipolar. One minute he's threatening, the next second he is laughing. And idk why but I was laughing with him Don't get me wrong, Shamsher has no redeeming qualities, but I love dank and twisted characters, sue me

Shamsher is absolutely nuts, especially when he is fixing Ahsan's appearance, put his arm around his neck and walks with him like nothing freakin happened He's just insane, absolutely nuts. I can't wait for him to face karma Esp since I have a hunch of what will happen in the second half (my girls and I decode stuff hehe ).

That being said...I feel so bad for Mehak. The kind of crap she's going through is just sad. You really wanna give her a hug and tell her it will all be alright

Next week's promo had one scene that I am really looking forward to.

Can't wait to see Mehak doing what she does

And I am aware of it, he isn't likeable and neither will I glorify him ❤️

Danish is Danish ❤️ Can't take my eyes off the screen ❤️ Even when he's playing this insane bipolar character, I get butterflies because of Danish 😆 But no way will I glorify Shamsher's antics! 😆❤️
