Problem is when eulogies are treated as facts, I don't think Prithviraj Chauhan had an empire, he was king of a kingdom. During his period, India had many kings, don't think there was an Emperor

Didn't Vijaynagar empire exist post Prithviraj Era? They were Hindus

Chola empire was there too

Marathas (Bhosle) ruled over us too so did Kalchuris of Tripuri

Peshwa was like Prime Minister he gained massive power but he was never coronated as a King, Shahu was the King (One can confirm it, I haven't read about Marathas, I'll start but everything feels like a lie for some reason)

Anyways, Hemachandra Vikramaditya or Hemu is the last independent Hindu ruler. First he conquered Delhi and after Battle of Tughlaqabad he became ruler of India.
