Last episode showed the Power of uniform. It gives the strength and courage to fight all the odds and threats. Rajeev tried but Mohit and omi were useless. Only Samrat was able to protect or be there for sai today, not only just because of any brother relations but the courage this uniform gives. I think ninad would also would have stand strong against jagtap and accomplishes. This time sai needs to be protected ( not because she is weak) , but jagtap has nothing to loose, his ego to possess her, his lust to claim her , now the humiliation will only rage him. So for sai two strong pillars for her protection . One is in jail and other's life is may be on risk. If Sammy is killed now , who will safeguard her. Other chavans are useless. Rajeev atleast tried but Mohit is a dumbo coward.

Atleast Dig should have given protection to sai and cn members as he considers her as his child. And he also knows about the history of sai and jagtap. It is really stupid from makers showing a criminal trying to sexually assault the ACPs wife in his own room.

In GC, KJ had constables to protect Sai at his residence, when the threat was comparably lesser. Even other occasions as well there was police outside their residence.

Though in Nagpur an ACP did not think or consider protection for his own wife, neither the department or DIG consider it, even after Jaggy cutting the power and water supply not after he riding on a horse inside the house. Of course baiscs are ghum.

Firstly, Ghum should always be seen in 2 ways - Ideation and Execution 😂 and latter we know is always rushed.

Absolutely. Ideation had so much potential, Execution is where they fail. The impact, the essence is lost from paper to screen.

Sam KJ parallel, and Samrat's emotional connect with Sai can only be seen ideological with few scenes strewn all over.

Though KJ's love for Sai is incomparable, but Sai has called Samrat Dada. Though Pulkit is closer to her and Samrat flips, but after Virat only Samrat can enforce Sai's position in CN. Pulkit how much ever great, is an outsider. Another reason, Pakhi tries to uproot Sai, only Samrat can keep Sai in her rightful position ONLY AFTER VIRAT.

That is the major power based differentiation between Pulkit and Samrat. Also defining the nature of support extended to Sai. Their stand in CN. Pulkit can only stand for Sai outside CN. His voice not having the deserving power with most of the Chavans.

The trajectory of Samrat's scenes with Sai point out to it.

The most recent one was antarpaat. We wanted Pulkit Or Sunny to hold that cloth for Sairat. But I said Samrat holding it was more logical. He is the direct wall between Pakhi and Sairat. But now it is not Pakhi, it is Jagtap.

Virat is in jail. Japtap in Sai's room. Only Samrat being her elder brother can save her. Baki sab kaadi barabar hai CN mein.

Let's go back.

In Mahabaleshwar, there was an instant connection between SS. Good that they bonded independent of the idea that they both belonged to CN. As a result their relationship is very organic, very much like Pulkit and Sai, and also like Sai and Virat (different contexts but still) .

Sairat end up together every other time only and only because of their interaction at GC, they have known each other independent of familial expectations, responsibilities, and commentary.

Similarly, how much ever Samrat flips, Sai's honesty is going to pull him back.

When Samrat came back from Mahabaleshwar, he confronted Virat. He absolutely was Pro-Sai even if one of the reasons was that they were sailing in the same boat. But the same samrat asked Sai to give her relationship a second chance, not from the lens of past, and this he does as a brother. Though he was quick to reprimand Virat, he also saw where they stood as a couple.

Sai leaves the house on Ganesh Chaturthi, Samrat blames V.

V locks up Sai in room. Though she escapes, Samrat fights with V.

Hospital scene - He visits Sai with Ashwini and he's the first witness that whatever the case, Sai wants to meet V.

Mimo track - he's the first one to know their nicknames. Sai complains about V to Samrat and V does the same. That hug too was cute ❤

When Sonali calls Sai an orphan, Samrat is first to stand beside her. Lovely scene again 😍

With Shruthi things went astray, but no matter how many somersaults or flips, Sai and Samrat's bond is incomparable.

Today's beat-up was quite a proof.

It wasn't only about protecting the woman of the family or his brother's wife but it was more about a brother protecting his sister.

Again, if am correct Antarpaat is held by Mama or brothers.

As in it is mother's family.

Just my take. Sai is close to both Samrat and Pulkit. The way I can define it more clearly is by categorising them into two relationship for their characteristics and bond.

Pulkit - A mentor turned friend. Someone who she respected for being her teacher and their bond grew with the connection that was built subsequently through Devyani. She is someone she reaches out to confide, for advise and sometimes only to unload, to share her pain, pains or anything that she is dealing with. So he dons the cap of a mentor and friend based on the situation. Pulkit is more connected to Sai than the family. It only a one on one relationship.

Samrat - An elder brother. The protective one. He goes against Sai when he feels she has hurt their family. But he also stands with her, when if he feels she is right, against the very same family. Like a brother, he knows her equations with each one and his actions are aligned accordingly. Sai always doesn't have to explain thing to him. He can act independent of that, because he can read things there. Samrat is as connected to Sai as the family. It is a closed unit there. Independently dependent. Unlike Pulkit who is mostly dependent on Sai to divulge any details or to understand her sentiments. He is that protective shield that will protect his lil one against the world. And here I will put in all the scenes you have mentioned, including the Antarpat.

Another difference between Sam and Pulkit is Sam is part of the family... so he knows their nature and can estimate their behaviour more accurately than Pulkit. So technically he can guide Sai when needed although they have never explored this.

On the other hand, because Pulkit is an outsider, he can be more objective in that aspect which is why he was the only one standing with Sai in Shruti track. Everyone else was emotionally manipulated and couldn't think straight.

True. Exactly what I meant when I said Samrat understand the equation with the family and responds accordingly without Sai mentioning or asking for it. Pulkit, however needs Sai or Devi for having that insight and it is subject to their interpretation.

Exactly!!! Only if they stopped the advance episode thing & properly planned how to move forward with every episode, Trust me the viewing experience would improve along with the storyline. This way team would get some rest & can plan things in a way more better manner.
