I just had a heated discussion , why our melt down doesn't matter ? Why online viewers shouldnt OVER REACT !! Why should have any say ?

my question is WHY SHOULDNT WE ?

I am renewing my hotstar uk sub for this shit show , shouldnt i have a say ?

Why we shouldnt react at a hint of negativity , negativity was always thr - but there was a balance

Wheres the balance in this show now ?

Lets take Imlie 1.0 , negativity was thr with respect to aditya - malini was positive

Negativity was the respect to malini - aditya -- rupi / nishant werw thr --- Aryan majorly

Wheres the balance ?

Imlie 1.0 had family bonding , the scene with all the male cooking - was so funny and wholesome. Theres no comedy , no good moments !
every show should be balanced , positivity , negativiry , comical and social message.

PD 4.0 is peak example , there was a plot - akt rescue mission

Sub plot arylie bonding , arylie taashan arylie comical panna pari and social msgs issue

If we ask anything close to that

We dont matter , we are over reacting !!

I know its weird but that's the bitter truth. Online viewers doesn't matter to ITV 😒

As long as Trp is coming everything is alright once Trp goes downhill they try everything to attract the Trp audience.

More Trp = higher advertisement rates

That's what earn the money to PH and the channel.

Online viewership doesn't benefits the PH or Channel.

See daily soap is one way media, it's not a chat.

I know that we have SM to reach out to the makers these days and constructive criticism should reach them as well.

But what time and emotions we invest on the show is on us. They are not obligated to fulfill our demands, they're making show to eatn money. And truth is if we do not watch the show someone else will, just like how i didn't watch upto 300 episodes but do now, same way.

We cannot demand, doesn't mean we cannot express our opinion and disappointments.

I to stopped renewing and I study when Imlie airs on TV no way I am getting this negativity inside my head which would ruin my mood. Bas written updates and forum gives me the gist of the story.

But kya show tha kya bana dia ... Now banner also doesn't matter nor narmada nor Imlie... The character Imlie just can't convince me...

And the most horrific part of the story is that now Fahmy's biceps also don't make me see the show...

Tore....how much ever it is difficult to understand, that's the truth. TRP audience is what matters most to TV shows. And the fact is that TRP audience are not emotionally invested in the shows as us online viewers. For example, my parents are TRP audience for regional shows. And when we discuss about the shows, the main thing they say is that evenif we watch only 3-4episodes a week randomly or alternatively, that's enough to know whether the story has progressed. And among my parents, it's my father who comparatively will ask some logical questions, to which my mother will either say, ask the writers about it or reply like I don't have an answer as I am here just to relax after completing my daily chores.😆 I believe that is the mindset of most of the TRP viewers. To them, it's just a matter of time pass.

So, there's no use in us loosing our peace of mind on something we don't have control of.

The makers have completely forgotten plot & subplot. They removed all the characters who were the foundation of the show and replaced it with shoddy written characters. Turned Narmada negative overnight. Completely depend on the actors’ popularity for the show to run.

Offline Imlie is more popular than Aryan among the aunties & online Aryan is more popular than Imlie among the youth & people who want progressive content. So they keep uplifting Imlie & degrading Aryan. Then when they exhaust Imlie (she keeps trp stable) they try to use Aryan’s popularity uplift him for 1 episode & degrade Imlie to lift her back for the next 5 episodes. What they don’t understand is both sides of audience trp & online love seeing AryLie 50:50

Problem is that the audience was built on their 50:50 partnership with a good plot. They build AryLie with a strong foothold now they don’t know how to separate them because they are scared of being bashed from both sides. But because trp is king they will never show Imlie wrong. If there’s anyone wrong it’s the whole family and last option is Aryan. They don’t want to butcher Aryan also so they have no clue what to do. What makers fail here is that there is a way in between. Aryan falters in his anger issues so that needs to be properly channelized in showing separation. He’s not a insecure/weak man at heart. I’m sure offline audience doesn’t like seeing Aryan weak. Angry, grey shades Aryan they won’t mind

If they show Aryan’s manhandling & Imlie actually standing up to him but Imlie unable to stand upto the world & Aryan razing the whole to protect Imlie it will work out. Aryan shouldn’t fall weak and storyline should favour both of them where both are wrong and right at the same time, it’s just circumstances around them.
