I need help

Can someone explain Abhimanyu's reaction in today's episode? Was he angry and throwing the papers away and making an awful angry smoothie because of Shefali's taunts or am I missing something cause I'm quite confused? I don't want to jump to any wrong conclusions after such a beautiful episode today, especially with how wonderfully Akshara explained the situation and their masti afterwards ❤️

I think he was upset. He was upset probably about several things. He was worried for Akshara and hence called his friend up to help and got that appointment letter. Then he finds out it wasn't what he thought had happened and she did get the job. So in some sense I think he was a bit miffed at himself for jumping the gun. Also deep down inside he perfered that she not go to the charitable hospital as he got a really bad vibe there. So he was uneasy about the appointment but knew she would go. Abhi is super emotional amd we know can get dramatic so he knew he should retract his papers as she got her appointment and he then tosses his papers to the side. Akshara understanding he was just concern for her says what she says to Shefali and then has that talk with him in the kitchen. Seriously loved that scene of her explaining things. This is the mature Akshara that had been missing for some time. Glad the writers brought her back.

Abhi has a tendency when slightly miffed or when super angry channel his respones in the wrong way for example throwing things or shouting. Akshara had said before about speaking with love when talking (essentially speak calmly). You can disagree and be upset but your words and actions should never come from such a heated place of anger because it can ruin relationships - friendship or love.

Ultimately Abhi supports Akshara and would never intentionally get in her way.

See that’s something I think the audience should give him credit for. Abhimanyu handled the situation quite well, when you compare it to the temper he’s shown others. He didn’t raise his voice or go personal and that’s really important for maintaining clear lines of communication. I remember people praising Harsh for not creating a giant scene at the anniversary party (as he tends to do - example that music therapy session where he insulted Akshara). People should applaud Abhimanyu for the same and more, according to that logic.

I didn’t think of the possibility of him being upset and thinking he didn’t believe in Akshu but I think that’s even more endearing.

That is how I interpreted the scene at least. Yes, Abhi is really trying to learn to calm and control himself because he never would want to intentionally hurt Akshu so he he's distracting himself and doing other things like cleaning or making bad juice to temper himself before he speaks. We are seeing these baby steps ever since Akshu has come into the Birla household. Just like we are seeing Akshu calmly speaking and explaining herself.

I've been enjoying the episodes post marriage. It's been nice seeing Abhi and Akshu evolve from individuals to this unit. It is still in the beginning phase so I still expect hiccups but so far we see how supportive they are with each other, how much they understand one another, and willing to be open to one another.
