That’s the assumption, that Abhishek turning down BB2 caused a rift. But I’ve also read speculations that the real issue is the next Dhoom movie and BB2 is a result of that 🤷🏽‍♀️

Rekha has never been on the show? That’s very odd. She’s one of the more visible senior actors out there. KJo should invite her.

Yea Bachchans are cool with Dharma. I’m sure publicly they’ll be cool with Adi Chopra too but may not do any professional collaborations. Then again, if the they find something that makes them all money they probably will 👍🏼

😒 no matter how much he tries the newbies ain’t happening they ain’t got the charm or spark. He’s desperate to recreate the Sonam Deepika moments or how fun the Imran Ranbir episode was.

I’d rather he’d bring some of the older generation who have actually lived a little and have something interesting to say. Bring the likes of Tabu, Sushmita, Juhi etc. Or some firecrackers like Nargis and Frieda.

...as far as I can see, all indicators point to it not being an episode of Koffee With Karan. It's just an interview to promote a film.

"A Date With..." series was it's own entity. The first one was in 2010 with Kajol & Kareena (A Date With Family) and the other one was in 2012 with Kareena & Imran (Date With Ek Main Aur Ek Tu).

There is no KWK branding or logo placed nor mentioned, nor is that show's format applied here. Although, anyone could be forgiven for making the mistake or thinking it was a KWK episode, for obvious reasons.

But technically it's not KWK, perhaps spiritually it may be considered so if you really want it to.

I am sure we will see Aliabhattbai at leats 2 times in the new season so she will make it 7 appearances eventually, perhaps by early 2023.

SRK appeared 3 times in Season 1 alone, and 2 times in Season 2.

If we include those "Date With" episodes then Kareena Kapoor has 8 appearances, surely to make it 9 very soon (perhaps Laal Singh Chaddha promo in August?).

Priyanka Chopra is also, along with Bebo, one of the very very few people who have made an appearance on every season, with 6/6.

Fair enough, but it is still on the "couch" with KJo, and Despite the absence of logo, its literally the same set (redecorated) and same format.👍🏼

Its also listed as one of the one-off "Special" Episodes in KWK episode list, on wiki and other places, so I guess it counts as an episode.

KJo himself asked Alia in this episode how she felt about the fact that that this is "3rd time". She had appeared twice before this.
