I agree, they should things very logically but we should also realize this is ITV and not meant to speak logic. Half the people writing story and working on this show may not even know the gravity of situation. Which is why I am against showing them delicate issues.
Also, I don't think makers make this show for non trp audience as they have a lot of options on web.
Agreed hence some posts on the main forum questioning the dialogues said by Akshu about passion vs Harshvardhan's dialogue about qualifications.
If we apply logic (I actually did a little reseach about Music Therapy in the US) you can start working in the Music Therpay field with just a Bachelors if you went to a school that has an accredited Music Therapy program and thus after graduation you are certified. However, you are qualified to work in a team in a supportive role in the Music Therapy field. For Akshu to actuallly run a Department she would need a Masters or Graduate degree and of course work experience. So technically Harshvardhan taunt about qualifications was somewhat true. But Akshu’s response was also true to what she knows about charitibale hospitals. They may take fresh just out of school Music Therapist to work there but won't be having them run a department.
Its not uncommon sometimes for employers to hire candidates that may not meet all the qualifications as things like attitude and ability to display willingness to learn, and a passion for the work can help sway the interview to your advantage. But of course each field is different.
Would like to know from those in the medicial field their thoughts.
Side note: Considering the show we are watching I find it interesting how serious some people make out the situation? I mean we have seen a cardiac surgeon operate on vocal cords, completed hand surgery, and help a head trauma patient? We also don't know if Abhi is a cardiac surgeon or a cardiologist cause they perform different duties. Are we really having a debate about passion vs qualifications regarding the characters?
Sorry if I offended anyone. Just some ramblings.
