Agreed hence some posts on the main forum questioning the dialogues said by Akshu about passion vs Harshvardhan's dialogue about qualifications.

If we apply logic (I actually did a little reseach about Music Therapy in the US) you can start working in the Music Therpay field with just a Bachelors if you went to a school that has an accredited Music Therapy program and thus after graduation you are certified. However, you are qualified to work in a team in a supportive role in the Music Therapy field. For Akshu to actuallly run a Department she would need a Masters or Graduate degree and of course work experience. So technically Harshvardhan taunt about qualifications was somewhat true. But Akshu’s response was also true to what she knows about charitibale hospitals. They may take fresh just out of school Music Therapist to work there but won't be having them run a department.

Its not uncommon sometimes for employers to hire candidates that may not meet all the qualifications as things like attitude and ability to display willingness to learn, and a passion for the work can help sway the interview to your advantage. But of course each field is different.

Would like to know from those in the medicial field their thoughts.

Side note: Considering the show we are watching I find it interesting how serious some people make out the situation? I mean we have seen a cardiac surgeon operate on vocal cords, completed hand surgery, and help a head trauma patient? We also don't know if Abhi is a cardiac surgeon or a cardiologist cause they perform different duties. Are we really having a debate about passion vs qualifications regarding the characters?

Sorry if I offended anyone. Just some ramblings.

Well, she may have thought this is a good thing that Neil is working. Because he does sit at home. What does he want to do?

If Parth also got an appointment then she is happy with the same thought. He is working instead of being at home with this non existent music career.

Again we need more context to what is it that Neil wants to do. What is it that Parth wants to do and why he hasn't been successful.

The truth is that ITV doesn't care for any of this logic... it's all about drama, because that is what brings in the TRPs!! As for Akshu's dialogue -- I can't speak for India, but in the US, getting hired at a nonprofit or charity is all about passion. Once you have a basic degree, it is your commitment and enthusiasm that will take you far... not any accolades or awards you may have!

But then again, digging into this medical accuracy is pretty useless because the makers simply don't care!! 😆

Yeah, we know that Parth is into music, but he basically quit everything because his parents forced him into medicine. Anisha's way of coping was running away, but he lost all confidence I guess. It's really quite sad. I don't condone the way he behaves with Shefali at all, but I feel really bad for how his ambitions and passions have been destroyed by Anand and Mahima. I would love to see a track where he starts singing again... maybe with manjari!

@Red:
I’m not a regular ITV watcher. This is the first time I’m watching a show that is TRP-high. Still, my two cents…

I think the makers understand the value each audience type brings.

TRP audience is ofc their bread and butter and the show is for them- No doubt. The meat and potato tracks are geared for them.

But the online audience brings them the craze, the awards, the trends and the goodwill. The younger Twitter? audience is more volatile - they give them the air hearts and Barbie Ken. The #AbhiKiAkshu #Abhira - all that is not for the TRP audience.

barbie nd ken nd hashtags have nothing 2 do wid de plot tho. thoze r just small details. de actual plot will alwayz b determined by trp audience. thiz iz a businezz nd itz about de money. trps=money. thatz all der is 2 it. der have been so many itv showz where online audience trended nd cried nd even threatened 2 boycott cuz of tracks but de makerz just said lolz nd moved on. de hype, awards, nd everything else doeznt matter if der r no trps. if makerz were going 2 go wid the online audiencez wishez then we wud be getting kiss nd consummation in every episode lolz 😆

I’m like that.

I have 4 things I start at the same time. I do a little bit of each thing so everything is a mess until I finish all four. I must have ADHD

I agree...this is what it is.

I honestly don't think that what happens at Birla Hospital should be treated in the same way as what occurs on shows like Grey's Anatomy or The Resident or The Good Doctor or Chicago Med because these shows have medical doctors on their writers team.

I also agree that AkshukaAbhi and AbhiKiAkshu isn't for TRP audiences but I also think that some of theTRP audiences now were probably in our place when Harshad did LRL and KDMHMD. So they most likely like HC from then and watch this for him.

The trends with this show and with the number 1 show make me feel that the audiences want AbhiRa to always be together regardless of what twitter wants. However, things might change after they have show AbhiRa post shaadi tracks for 1 year.

Are my ramblings making sense or am I going on a tangent and not answering your Qs. I ve been told I tend to do that
