Some kids find makeup very fascinating -- I was also one of them, and I still gravitate to all things makeup and skincare. There were times I tagged along with my rents to parties, etc. with makeup on too... at the age of around 7-8 ish. I don't even remember the number of times I snuck around and messed up my mom's brand new makeup kits when she'd be out for hours. It's not as sinister and pathetic as it looks, honestly. Some mom's will let their daughters enjoy painting their nails, wearing lipgloss, etc. and view makeup as nothing but art and just another form of creativity while some have strict principles around girls and makeup. It's really just a parenting thing at the end and what their philosophies are surrounding it.

I can say whatever I want about celebs I like but I will find 101 ways to justify the same if someone who obviously dislikes them joins that train of thought. 😆 But no, I mean what I said.

I have little to no idea on this makeup things. Lucky me I have two sons no daughters. 😆 so i donot need to learn new things now in my life 😆

And come to makeup of little girls, i get scared with what those chemicals do to their young skin. Lipgloss and mascara is ok but beyond that is a big no for me. 😛

@bold: those are your personal thresholds, which is perfectly ah-okay!! I'm sure having two sons is more than a handful too with challenges of their own. beyond that, I'm not qualified enough to give you my 2 ₵, so I'll spare you unsolicited lectures on how to raise them. 😆

I have a cousin who loves playing around with her mom’s makeup kits n her mom just lets her indulge. Not sure if it’s a good thing or a bad thing if it’s moderated to an extent but it’s possible the kid insists on the makeup herself n ash gives in, who knows. 🤔

Bruh, I wasn’t even allowed to pluck my monobrow until my late teenage years. Mum used to say, you can pluck your eyebrows when you’re engaged. I was like, Y U NO UNDERSTAND, no one will want to marry me if I have one eyebrow instead of two. Worked a charm 🤌🏽

P.S. I started makeup when I turned 18. 😆

Before plucking my monobrow, no. After plucking my monobrow, still no. 😆 High-school wasn’t very generous to me. When I went to Uni then things changed.

Gotta say, she looked great during her red hair phase. The color really popped and she played around with it a lot more
