Anuj as a character had always been in love with Anu, pre confession he had to hide his feelings, post Anu's confession he didn't hence GK had emoted this being in love wale reactions since a long and it's not new from his side. Basically, we are used to seeing Anuj like that.

On the contrary, Anu had always been restrained and restricted to emote her love with respect to romance and intimacy! It's only recently (since engagement I'd say) she has been seen opening to the progress of intimacy and that thought! Now she she's full on in it! Hence RG's expressions felt refreshing and new! And she did a brilliant job there! I myself had my eyes glued to her more than GK!

But it's not like GK isn't emoting! I would say it was more Anu's moment than Anuj.

Plus romance was not so much her forte.. she excels in emotional scenes.. so seeing her romancing is refreshing.. as you said.. uspar nazar tiki rehti hajn..

That does NOT mean GK is not emoting much.. he is there..very much in the scene.. just RG se nazar hatake dekhe toh one knows how good he is..❤

Another most fav mirror scenes they missed here... On anu dance competition.. Anu imagine him as motivating him for dance competition... That his look in black suits... Tumhe apna vada nibhana hoga...anu ko anuj ka kia hua vada ab nibhana hoga...That his voice modulation.. Haye haye.. ☺️

I somewhat agree. Anu’s romantic antics are very new, so its thrilling for fans to watch her finally get there. Also RG I feel has now become comfortable enacting romance so she was in her element. Truly nazar nahi hat rahi thi 😍🥹

But GK is better, has always been, in romantic scenes. He has that intense gaze which oozes sex appeal. The date night sequence was just fire because both were totally into it. This was missing in today’s cheek kiss scene, also somewhat in car scene. I think it might be on purpose by the director. Can’t think of any other reason why.
