I know most of us feel like throttling MM right now but the first scene in the episode made me think ki she might be up to something. She did realise Varun is a bad guy and not for once did she think about saving Sara's wedding. Her thoughts were only on Ram and how she betrayed his trust and she rushes back to do something. I could be wrong but I have a hunch.
