Agreed there too. They are spending too much time on these two and hence taking away from the contestants.

Medals - Rituraj, Aryananda, Aruna, Sayisha, Pranjal.

No medals for Arunita & Sayli's teams.

For some reason arunita’s team mostly being ignored by judges in giving tumne duniya hiladi despite praises from judges so no medals for her team. Then how can she get even team of the week.

Has the trainer got a grudge against arunita? What is his name? Neeraj Kelkar?

As regards the performances, for me the most outstanding performance was Rituraj. I really don't understand how they can give DHD to Chetanya and not to Rituraj!

That post was for Saturday. I posted separately on Sunday.

I won't go in-depth with the analysis of last weekend, but these points stood out for me:
1. The youngsters should have given the tribute to Anandji.
2. You don't give whatever award they are giving for anyone who forgets lines. That sends a completely wrong signal. No one is serious about the talent. It is just a show.
3. There are too many mediocre singers at this stage. Some eliminations will make things tighter.
4. I actually liked Vishwaja's singing though she was not recognized.
Rohan was entertaining.
I cringed when Arya sang" Ye khana aa gaye UM" and they should dress up Aruna as an older masculine singer. Plaits and what she sings just does not gel!
Pranjal and Chetanya are over-hyped. Pranjal seems like such a put on.
Faiz sang well and I think there is a concerted effort by judges to keep him grounded.

Rituraj sings very well for his age and Sayisha has the confidence that attracts an audience.

Me 1.5 cents! 🤣

Re. Awards, I agree. Definitely favourites. Not just of judges, but also creative team and head of contestants singing training.

Re. Aruna, I was about to write about her get up. My thoughts are why they dressing her up as an elderly lady ie pleated skirt, blazer......

My advice to our beloved arunita - please wear something from your own wardrobe. No offence to her fans. In my opinion, channels wardrobe leaves a lot to be desired

Agreed wit most of wht u said. I dont see how Chetanya is over-hyped when I barely see him mentioned anywhere. Rituraj and Faiz are the over-rated ones in my opinion. Rituraj sings good but it was always the similar slow paced, soft songs. Faiz's Channa Mereya has still scarred me. Obviously he will become famous outside of this show.

So wasnt the DHD for the whole team? Chetanya's team did sufi which was unique, while Rituraj's one was litearlly so similar to "Aaya Mausam Dosti Ka" he did wit Harshita(not sure of the spelling) previosuly

No, that was Chetanya's performance and the other two were supporting him - non-scoring performance, in some sense.
