Chap 1

“Aryan, the western territory clan they have been threatening to take over our lands, we need to go there for negotiations , we don’t want war knowing we can win but still Sukoon never believed in war” Aryan’s right hand Veer said , the Beta, in lycan lingo. Aryan sat there ponderinf about this threat, from western territory consisting of Maharashtra, Gujrat , Goa. Veer is right war is not the solution, Sukoon was found by his ancestors to be away from mankind wars and violence. They named it sukoon, because this place is exactly as its name. He looks over 300 families in this territory and have been safeguarded ever since he took the place of an Alpha.

“I will go personally to Mumbai, isnt that where the main problem is coming from?” Veer nodded in reply.

“Yes we just know the names, but we have no idea who they are. And Aryan , I and Arjun will join you too. You are Alpha we cannot let you go there alone. Plus your mother wont allow it” Ah he is right, he does have responsibility of whole community/ pack. Meanwhile in Mumbai, Imlie and Ishan had planned for a photoshoot. Ishaan was a photographer and he insisted to take Imlie’s pictures for fun. Imlie agreed happily as she would get to dress up. They will be using props as well like a ball, balloon and scarf and he will take shots for his portfolio too. After one week, they met at a very beauitful park which not a lot of people used. It had lot of greenary and the best part was small pond located at the back

Of the park. The shoot was fun, she made some silly poses some people in park looked at her weirdly too. When the last photo with the ball was done, Imlie threw the ball opposite side of Ishaan. It went far, when she heard a loud growl. That wasnt normal, she thought and was she the only one who heard? She went to direction of the ball she threw. There was man , looking at the ball when suddenly as she came near his head snapped up. He frowned and his eyes went wide then he became angry. He wwas hot, ignoring his angry look. The scar on his eyebrows was so sexy. Shut up Imlie, take your ball and leave.

“Ahem I am sorry did it hurt you ?” She asked softly.

“Nothing can hurt me” his voice oozed power, it was deep, it made her hair stand on her arms. She went closer putting her hand out, he slowly kept the ball in her palm but slightly their fingertips touched and she felt a current passed her body. It was weird but she didnt give reaction however he did. He looked angry and disbelief shroud his face. She turned walking back to Isbaan who was walking towards her. She heard a deep soft growl but when she turned around he was gone.

He was definitely weird, whew atleast that was dealt with.

Chap 2

Shi* Shi* Shi* How is it possible??!! Oh my moon goddess what have you done?? Aryan was pacing up and down in a newly aparment he bought in South Bombay. Him and his two friends had finally landed in Mumbai two days ago. They had split up today to the places where the enemies clans usually hangs out and that park was one of them. When he saw her, he wanted to grab her and take her away with him but then he realized this is forbidden: she is human! Him and her can never be together especially him being the Alpha. His people would never accept, people? His mother will never accept. His father was killed by a man who was a hunter. Ever since his mom despises humans. He sat with head in his palm. His body wanted to be with her, claim her but he can’t. How can he control himself? The slight finger touch just confirmed his fear today, she is his choosen one. One side is his bond thats gnawing him inside and one side he has his people who loves and admire him, looks upto him. He cannot disappoint them but he cannot deny the bond either. What shall he do? Until he is here, he wants to see her to calm his inner beast. He has to talk to Arjun and Veer.

Imlie was still weirded out by the man in the park. What was that she felt when their fingers touched? And he was stranger then why was he giving expressions of anger and disbelief as if she has commited a crime. She smiled, he was one god damn good looking man. “Aahh” she fell on her bed as she left out soft aaah . She was bad in dating, her last date ran away because she made a lame joke. She like to be funny but people doesnt find her funny well except Ishaan. That boy likes anything about her so he is no use in these matters. She slept thinking about the man in the park again.

Next morning, she was smiling way too much at work that her boss noticed it.

“Imlie? Itni badi smile? Kya baat hai?” He asked

“Kuch nai Mr. Desai just feel good” she replied.

“Acha i do have one thing to talk about , come to my office.” Imlie followed him to his cabin.

“So two things, the first one is not that great news, this man calls up this morning asking me to sell this company to him. First i said no, then he threatened that he will do by force if he has to but he wants this company. I dont know beta why all of sudden a man randomly wants to by our media house. So i told him we can meet tonight here . He agreed. So beta i trust you alot you know that i want you to be with me “ Imlie was hearbroken seeing her boss look so nervous and scared, she was pissed at the man. She will deal with him later.

“Sir but we can complain to police right aise kaise koi randomly aake dhamki de?”

“Yes i know we will talk tonight and will tell him same face to face hopefully that can scare him off” he shook his head and loosened his tie.

After a pause, “Oh second thing i wanted to talk about is a one report that i want you to personally look into. Its minor investigation and i know you havnet done field work but i want you to take care of it. “

“Sure! I would love to be back on field Sir”

“There is serial killer crime thats been going on in South Bombay. I need details on that whatever you can get. The police has been hush about it because they have been unsuccessful to nab that culprit”

“Ok any one detail you have where exactly what area?”

“Near Sealinks its been happening. Just start research today” Imlie nodded getting up. “I will get into it “ she has very little info.

“And Sir dont worry we will tackle him tonight” showing her bicep which made Mr Desai laughed.

Arjun had found some details about the girl. She works at Bhaskar Times. It was media house, and to be near her he decided to buy it. He is man with power and money and he could only think to buy the whole damn company just so he can see her but he will maintain distance. Its like he cannot be with her but to calm his soul he has to be near her. He personally wanted to know about her. Arjun and Veer were shocked when he told them about her. But they advised him as friends rather than his advisors. Arjun told him her name was Imlie.

He had raised his eyebrow, “Imlie? “LWhat a unique name. I hope she isnt sour as her name “ he chuckled

“That was so lame joke Aryan” Veer chuckled highfiving Veer because they saw his friend face for the first time go soft when he heard her name.

“Imlie… hmm.. Imm…lieeee” he repeated like a sick puppy making his friends laugh at him.
