Bidaai - so exaggerated

Their mother is not going anywhere she had not been before .... and certainly not out of country (>>> so no honeymoon in Paris 😈)

Also, she has found the love of her life - and, all the same, would not be giving up her love and care for her children (and the rest of that toxic family)

So, personally, I thought the bidaai was TOO MUCH, so exaggerated, and so unrealistic. For Anu is not a young bride who would leave her parental house 'never to return', as the old (but, sadly, still quite often maintained) custom would dictate. 😕

While Rupali acted her part out very well, it still felt very weird. Gaurav made a great job of someone who actually had nothing to do with all this rona-dona, and just wished they would be on their own, somewhere else, ASAP

I agree with you. The rona dona is bs and so outdated. Bidaai itself is a patriarchal custom. So much for Star Plus' nayi soch 🤡

I did not watch the bidaai episode, because it makes no sense to me. What bidaai are they talking about? missing her etc? She is divorce, doesnt belong in that house to begin with. 😕

btw, what have they not exaggerated till now? Everything is blown out of proportion!😳🤔

Even I did not understand that. I mean she already left the house technically.. She came back to take care of Kinjal and did everything apart from taking care of her.

May be they were emotional because now OFFICIALLY and ON PAPER Anupama is someone else's wife and like earlier they can't do any drama or give taana anymore (or may be they can)

I felt exactly the same.

Apart from it, I found her instruction to Toshu," 11 baje se pehle so jana". very funny. You are giving this instruction to 27 yr old man who is married, not to a kid of 11-12 yrs who will miss school otherwise. According to me, a couple gets time for themselves only late-night, especially in a joint family.

These kinda mothers do not let their sons grow up and be independent. beta tere socks ye rahe, hankey yeh raha, give everything in their hands and these sons expect the same thing from their wives and compare wives to mothers.
