Face Off - Unleashed Evil vs Chained Integrity
Sai is arrested by Virat. He is one the to handcuff her and escort her to the vehicle. He holds her hand to help her to her seat at the back. Ensures no one else touches his wife, even when it pained him to do so himself. She remembers V's words when he had dropped her the day before "Aaj tumhe jaane dene ka mann nahi hai". The premonition, that gave us the inkling that all was not going to be well. The song played in the background was beautiful, heightening the melancholy mood. The words just apt. Like I said in my post yesterday honeymoon period is over. "Jogiya milan ki rah katili, phir bhi preet ki chaal nasheeli". Love intoxicates and makes one dance to its tune, despite knowing there will be thorns on the way. To unite and to stay united will be tough path. They were lost in the new found love, when life decided to test them. Again an indicator, it is going to get tougher, to be together, to sustain & protect what they have, what they built together.
Sai breaks down behind the bars. But V is there to comfort her. Trust and understanding is what they earned in this journey and it reflected in the short conversation. He apologises for arresting her and promises to bail her out. Sai says she understands and he is not at fault. She is in fact more concerned about his reputation and the allegations that could be levelled against him if he tries to help her. They are perfectly in sync even in the difficult times. (I did miss the intensity a little here in the given situation, both lacked a certain degree of emotions that I believe they have expressed before). V has done such subtle emotions very well, it didn't match though.
V calls Samrat for help as he can't be help directly. Samrat moves away to talk to V so that the family does not know the truth. But sensing something amiss, P follows and overhears. V hasn't revealed complete situation to Samrat, but only requested to get the lawyer to bail out Sai. Despite Samrat's instructions not to reveal anything, P opens her big mouth. She has no clue into what has happened, yet she goes ahead with informing the family with the just the only fact that Sai is arrested. BK and gang had to jump in on the opportunity that P neatly laid for them. Not even giving a consideration what and why. They have all known her so well, they know she is always righteous in her approach. Yet, instead of worrying about her, they are busy accusing her, and dreading what the world will talk. BK's & Sonali's double standards. Chavan Khandaan and its reputation at stake for sheltering criminals. One herself leads kidnapping and the other's husband is a goon in disguise. WOW!!
Jagtap is back
As expected, he is related to Malhar..his brother. Is he really a cousin or one of his close aids, that he is referring to as bhai? Samrat comes with the lawyer, but before they could proceed with any formalities, Jagtap enters. Shocker for Sairat. Sai has flashback of all that she suffered at his hands including losing her father. Her pain and her anger to get back at him, but the helplessness. Jagtap is objectifying Sai, openly teasing and harassing her. Virat threatens him, but Jagtap challenges him to arrest him and keep him in the same cell as Sai. Virat is furious, but Samrat is more composed and stops Virat. Not sure how much Samrat knew and how much he gathered from their conversation. But Samrat's expression didn’t give much. He was just watching the alterations, ensuring nothing escalates for things to go against their them. Jagtap and his men are prepared for it. So they may know the truth, and hence have an upper hand in compromising the evidence. Malhar's henchmen can go against Dr. Thorat, but they will not go against Jagtap. So it is not going to be as easy as Virat expected it to be. Jagtap is creepy... openly checking her out and talking crap. He really gave those hair raises with his sinister looks, disgusting talks.
Precap - Has V reiterating, Sai is his wife now. But Jagtap is least affected. He feels "Mane" suits her more. It is going to be more intense tomorrow.
Samrat's days are numbered. He will be the casualty, unaware of his fate. P is going to get everything out of him. She is snooping already and she will know about Jagtap and her mind will sketch out the plan. Whether she intends to sacrifice Samrat or it happens accidentally is what we will have to wait and watch. But she is definitely joining hands with Jagtap and giving vital information.
Jagtap has a strong screen presence. As a villain he is creepy and scary and he does his well. He owns his scenes. V really needs to try hard to match up. They were good in their GC face off. But today V lacked the same aggressiveness. I know he has to restrain, because situation is different and he can’t risk Sai. But nope. It didn’t match. I hope tomorrow is better.
