Dhoni said in the last match that they are giving others chance and see which combinations will be good for the next season. Their main focus is on that and not on winning. And CSK not giving chance to new players - it is true. Dhoni and co. have been so proud of being daddy's team. No doubt 10 years ago they introduces players, who has been huge part of India squad. Thakur and Deepak are bowlers. But it has been long time since they have introduced young batsmen. CSK only have Ruturaj. Rest are 25+ players. CSK have not been producing new players, who can carry on the legacy of CSK. All the core players are 30+ and are counting their days. it should had been in their mind when they went into this year auction. The bowling department seems promising with young/fresh bowlers but the batting not good.
But CSK's job is not to produce new players
