Is there a way where we can unmigrate a thread (clearing all the connection it has to a book and then being able to migrate it to another book) or maybe combining two books in a single book?

Some users have multiple threads for one story and tend to migrate each thread in one book and as FFEs (or the users themselves) can't really do anything about it.

We will be creating a Delink feature where a FanFiction can be delinked with the original Topic Thread so that it can be migrated again as a different FanFiction.

This option will only be available to FanFiction Editors only.

For easy access to the Genre list we have updated the drop down to show all Genres that are currently with us.

Please go through the list that is there. If someone can help us with the updated list we will ensure that those Genres are added.

Since this list is shared with movies/shows also it may appear little weird (for ex: Silent). Once we have some more time in hand we will update this also so that it only shows FanFiction specific Genres.

I am hoping that by tomorrow we should have the FanFiction type also available. So that its easier to filter FanFiction by Type: OneShot / TwoShot etc

Here is the full list of newly included genres in Fanfiction section.

What do members who identify as 13 years old see on the first page of the Most Popular list? That everyone is reading and liking certain stories, which you can't read unless you lie about your age?

When someone gives my story a FAIL, is that counted as a Like to make it more Popular? I hope not.

If you observe carefully, most popular fictions are the fictions with most number of stars/subscribers. Popularity doesn't seem to be biased based on any readership category or number of reactions to a story. Only number of subscribers to a fiction has been considered. I think that's what the popularity algorithm intended to do.

Maybe the popular stories can be changed based on the views/stars/subscriptions per month (like hall of fame)

Because rn, only those stories will be higher up coz they were being written when the show was onair (and hence got more engagement) and then were migrated.

One can see it on the Fanfiction homepage under the Refine by Genre.

Sometimes multiple authors write in collaboration. However, only one author can post from his/her account.

Can we have an option/box for inserting all the authors' names? ðŸ˜Š

4. Filters that can help people sort stories based on forums and the status of the story.

Just like we have a section for the latest stories, we should also have a section for popular stories or stories that are updated frequently. There can be a prompt system (maybe an indicating like or blinky) in the main forum whenever a story of that show is posted or migrated.
