According to a Netflix spokesperson, Indian viewership of Korean dramas increased more than 370 percent from 2019 to 2020. That figure would only be higher in 2022, considering the worldwide phenomena that were shows like Squid Game, Hellbound, and most recently, All of Us Are Dead.
Netflix will produce indian remake of something in the rain, humesha netflix se complaint karte thy, ab khush hojao
All things considered, to say that Netflix has the current upper hand in terms of Korean content would be an understatement. A recent announcement revealed that there are 25 Korean films and shows set to be released in 2022, its biggest lineup from the country ever. Moreover, they have also begun venturing into remakes, with Jung Hae In and Son Ye Jin's Something In The Rain set to have an Indian adaptation in collaboration with Pocket Aces, the parent company of Filter Copy and Dice Media.

I just wish Something in the rain's remake become a big success and they keep doing few more remakes until they understand the pattern of execution and unless they create their own original with kdramatic vibes.
I just read now. THIS IS SOOOO IMPRESSIVE !!!! 100 new original series for real i just hope they stick to their point atleast iss saal 20 new series hi launch kardo utna kaafi hai. Now i get it why TV producers are entering in DPHS. Looks like it is their goal for 2022-2024. According to you iss saal kitne shows launch hosakte hai ?
