It came as a surprise for me too. Koel was in an abusive marriage, so wouldnt it take her some time to deal with her trauma? For Faizi being commitment phobic, the makers skipped that thing or maybe just ignored it. But genuinely this speed is so hard to cope up withđ
I thought Sanjana might be back for the wedding of her senior but it doesn't seem that way. Sid has been chill ever since he entered the academy (as per the BTS) but I saw another one in which he seems to be missing Sanjana.
And also saw one interview where they hinted about a not so happy ending for SidSa, so I don't really know what's in store for them.

They ignore traumas like they don't even exist. As per the script, all the leads have undergone stuff that should leave them traumatic atleast for a short span of time but we got nothing like that
