THIS. YES. Lately, I’ve been feeling all sorts of conflicted about this show for the same reasons you’ve so eloquently pointed out. I find it to be progressively losing relatability, and the lack of introspection on characters’ part and continuity/connectivity in the storyline is a major part of it. The whole pull of the Aryan-Imlie equation was the way they slowly and steadily built an understanding of each other. Ever since they got married, they’ve barely shown them having a true conversation of substance about their marriage, or virtually anything. They haven’t even started addressing the real reason as to why Aryan forced Imlie to marry him in the first place (and the track they’re on right is directly related to that). But the fact that Imlie has already accepted not only the marriage, but the fact that she might have feelings for Aryan as well this quickly with barely any, if not no inner conflict at all, is rather strange to me given how firm of a believer she was of the ‘love and marriage happens only once’ idea. I don’t get why the makers are in such a rush already to show physical proximity between them when arylie literally have the perfect foundation for the perfect slow burn romance.

I have no issues with Narmada turning negative, but her slapping of Imlie and the content of what she said regarding her past (which has absolutely nothing to do with her) despite having seen everything unfold in front of her eyes, is an illogical and unacceptable way of going about it to me. It had absolutely nothing to do with what she claimed her issue was, that is Imlie’s involvement each time Aryan gets hurts (which again, I have to point out that each time Aryan got hurt, it was actually either due to something to his/his family’s benefit or his own choice to be there). What I do have a real issue with though, is the fact that they’ve already started deflecting blame from her to BM/BD in today’s episode. They may have manipulated and instigated her, but the conscious choice to act on it was ultimately 100% hers. The show needs to show accountability on her part instead of downplaying it as her being “just caught up”.

Iam a fan girl and I have no objections to this show or even what ever they show right on . I believe the makers know what they r upto since they have been doing serials for a long time now but iam new to a Gul khan show. I haven't seen many Hindi serials rather seen a select few mainly of the male actors whose first serials I watched and continued to do so again mainly because of the acting equation which I loved or the Jodi. Most of the serials I have watched never really preferred the female lead . But now things r different I really like the acting of both this time. So a fan girl not just of the serial also of Aryan, Imlie and AryLie. I do have objections to post over here though. Really can't agree with any . Sorry , just a personal opinion. No offence anybody . Also another thing to clarify I started watching only after Fk entry . Big fan of his acting since his MDKD days and now also of Sumbul. Not going anywhere and hoping this show keeps going great . Optimistic to the core.😀

miuni - if it makes you feel better, I didn't relate to imlie's pain either. I vaguely understood her stain dialogue but I was dying of laughter that aryan had left the hospital right after getting shot and having stitches. 🤣 then there was the whole tie and dye show illogic which had me laughing even more. so yea, my brain just fizzled and paid little attention to imlie's pain. I was laughing too much. 😂

Well for me the problem was not with question but the person who is asking, because Narmada had see imlie struggling to save her marriage she know the reaction imlie give her when she first time asked her to marry her son, Narmada had idea the length imlie went through to save AKT from terrorist in pagdandiya, Narmada have see the way whole triphatis adores imlie one person can be wrong two person can be influenced but not the whole family, she knows imlie stays in triphatis taking all the bullsh*t malini and AKT give her just to make sure Aparna recovered properly and she saw the clips which exposed malini in which it is clear that malini had manipulated AKT till the time imlie and AKT got divorced, she knows imlie got kidnapped while finding the truth of Arvind just so that her son got closer on that chapter, imlie said that on a day she was taking Aryans interview. If she ask this question on the day of marriage when imlie came back to marry her son after abandoning him on last phera because if she was not ready why did she lead her son till the marriage day or on the day of reception when imlie fool herself with whole servant identity and don’t think about Rathore reputation. This is the reason why it leaves bad taste in my mouth, because she’s knows imlies struggles.

P.s she was the who was shipping imlie with her son just some days after imlie’s divorce when Aryan and imlie was dancing in akt mehandi on ddlj song Arpita was the who stopped her from imaging further because imlie recently got divorced so I don’t understand Narmada question 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ Like Aunty tumne Abhi tak nasha kr rakha tha ya abhi kuch chada liye hai jo tumhe itna sab yaad Nahi ya bhool gai ho

tell me about it!!!! I don't understand it either. generally you see such choppy rushed work when the drama is winding down and they have limited number of episodes to wrap up the story. since this show is running, why are they not pacing themselves? it is really confusing because they have all the characters and plot arcs that would make interesting but they are rushing everything without giving any depth.

I don't mind screen space given to negative characters when the arcs make sense. sometimes villains make the show. I feel like they missed the boat by dropping the arc of Arvind's death. even though the actor chose to leave and they had to cut out the entire family, they could have written out the villain behind Arvind's murder in a different way. they could have brought in someone who was a total villain and doing stuff behind the scenes to create business issues. they could have imlie and aryan join forces to unmask who it was. instead, that villain and others have continued to be more comedy characters instead of true negatives. so they actually don't add much to the plot or character development. instead, it feels rather disjointed and chopped.

This absolutely saves my guilt of not feeling her pain a bit😆u r my soulmate for a reason I guess🤣 tbh her mom had more bitter stories just imagine giving birth unmarried in a regressive society of that village.

Is she really Meethi's daughter? Also yes banduk ki goli or dulhan ki Doli it doesn't matter you run towards your partner at the most worst possible situations that's something so common in ITV that nope...

U made me feel better😃 Thank you❤️

Precisely. They needed to have started with them both agreeing to be friends first over a handshake, after the whole Arvind’s real murderer thing (which was a great opportunity to introduce someone formidable, but whatever) got over. Honestly, I had pictured pretty different scenes for them, like Imlie working on an article on a rainy night and Aryan bringing her a hot beverage and vetting her work a little, and then them just sitting on the couch and watching the rain together while having a casual (or deep) conversation about life. A random thought/memory strikes one of them which makes them smile and the other asks what it is, and from there, they go on exchanging funny/interesting stories from their childhood/school days, their likes and dislikes (which they still don’t know enough about each other) with each other all through the night. Sneaking out for impromptu afternoon golgappa/chai or midnight ice cream runs, or experiencing fun/new things together like the amusement park/bowling/ice skating (come on, they’re bloody young!). Like without fussing over whether love’ll happen between them in future for the moment, you know?
