Let me tell you something. We are in the spring season where I live. Every time I am outside, I see the beautiful yellow flowers on the green grass. From afar, it looks like a yellow blanket on the grass. When we look at it every spring all around Minnesota, we are given two choices by mother nature: either to look at it through a positive or negative lens. You may ask how that can be?
When seeing those yellow flowers every spring, we are always amazed at the ability of good over evil. How can such a beautiful flower be a perennial weed? Yet they are. They are dandelions. Even though they are weeds, they bring a smile to our faces. Their bright yellow colors will prompt one to take out the camera and take a snap. They remind us of the Bollywood movie songs in a field of mustard flowers.
Now let us look through the negative lens. We get lured by the beautiful dandelions and get trapped in the web of illusions until we realize one day that once the yellow leaves dry out, we see nothing but the gory reality of a weed.
Coming to my post, you could have read it positively, which was my intention, but you chose to think I attacked you personally. If that were my intention, I wouldn’t start by saying sorry and no offense. It was supposed to make you laugh – all it meant was recycling is good for all things except tracks for series. Please take it lightly!
I think we all are allowed a little bit of dark humor sometimes – coming from a huge Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart fan.
