The Kite Runner is a very different experience than A Thousand Splendid Suns. I cannot compare them at all. Similarly, his third one, And the Mountains Echoed, is different than the first two in writing also but it was not as powerful in stirring emotions as the other two.

Can I find his short stories online?

I agree all 3 books're entirely different hence incomparable kyunki wahin - touches different set of affected people.

I reread ATSS immediately again & I remember crying at the Delivery room & at the execution Scene so bad. So that's how moving the book was for me.

P.S: I liked Ram and Krish interaction was man to man talk… and was decent ( at least until yesterday’s episode, I am not sure what havoc the writers create on Monday - or they may even conveniently forget that the two characters did talk 😆)

I would like to say with all honesty that I have been in Ram’s position - been there and done that .. immaturity can kick in anytime if you are way too emotional

I read it first cos that's his most famous work - that's how I got to know'bt him. Then, I read the other 2 books.

A lot happened in one day for Ram.

Like really a lot...while Priya was actually Happy that he finally took his time to be with himself...you can see how Nandini has brought him up all these years by her immediately blaming him for leaving them & going away.

The whole time I was like, WTH do you mean Shubhu by Bhai, Humein kuch samajh nahi aaraha tha hum Kahan jaayein...Arre, pairon ke neeche zameen aur chhat thhi - Apni maa ko sambhalte bas. How much of a - mujhe kuch nahi pata mere saamne kya-horaha-hai-person are you?

I can justify Ram's actions here. But the question is will I? My answer is a SOLID NO.

The creatives don't deserve us and our attention.

I just can't stop crying thinking of Mariam and the life she had. She deserved so much more ah I can't with her sacrifice, my heart is heavy and I'm too emotional right now (maybe a tad tired too).
