well i not sure but may be cause even on youth channel there was nothing supernatural. It was only normal teen romance sagas. They had no data or anything to tell them how people would perceive vampires. Its quite morbid thing if u think about it. Maybe the makers had data on how popular TVD and twilight were in India so they tried based off that? Considering there were elements from both series I feel like maybe those two were popular enough to make a similar show on ITV 😲

maybe thats why they started but they still couldn't have known how people would respond!
