“I want to tell you something” he said with a smile. Imlie nodded “yes?”
Aryan suddenly got really nervous, he was proposed by girl before and he never asked any girl out before that, blush started to creep in.
“Um , actually wanted to say weather bohut acha haina?” What the hell Aryan what are you saying weather?? Its freaking raining outside!!
“Huh?” Imlie looked at him confused but didnt say anything further
“Tumne khane mein kya banaya?” He asked
“Aryan what you want say ? Say it..you didnt want to ask about food for sure right?” She looked at him curiously. His legs were now shaking in nervousness
“Can i get water?” He asked. Imlie got up and came back with glass of water which he gulped within one second.
“So jo baat kehni thi woh yeh hai ki…ki your eyes very intimidating aise mat dekho” he said rather hurriedly with.
“Aryan late ho raha hai, i want to sleep bolo jo bolna hai?”
“Meri gf banogi?” He blurted , shit Aryan is this way to ask someone? Gf banogi? I have to say i love you , not some high school kid asking a girl out. He mentally hit himself
“Aryan..” she started and he got up “Sorry i shouldnt have” he said turning his back to him.
“Aryan before you go, hum kabhi ek nai ho sakte hai “ that hurt him he rather wished she had kept quiet.
He turned to face her with question on his face,
“Why?” He asked
“Bus nai ho sakte saath, tumhari fiance bohut pyari hai Aryan dont break her heart. “ He was pissed, he hold her by shoulder and she panicked. He immediately removed his hand, “Sorry, Kajal yaha aai thi?” He knew this was her doing
“Does it matter? Listen we are just spending time together because of my case, and if feelings are going to come in between then i can ask to change the officer”
“Enough! I will stay on this case.. nobody can remove me and I have feelings for you whats so wrong about it? And i m not with Kajal anymore” he said angrily
“Bus Aryan this is getting awkward for me, i want you to be with Kajal if you respect me then you will go back to her. Its getting late” indirectly telling to leave.
“Fine if thats what you want” he went banging the door behind him.
His ego is now taking over him, he couldnt take the rejection but at same time his angel side told him the way he asked was terrible. He didnt care , she wants she will get it.
He went home and shared with his mom who was eagerly waiting. “Beta, pehle to ye koi tarika hai puchne ka? Thoda romantic setting ho thoda pyar se…buddhu ho tum bilkul. Mein jaungi use bolungi” she offered
“No mom, you wont go bus ab use jo chaye wo milega” His mom told him not to let ego get him.
“Mom i cant think anything bus boldia na”
“Ok but mujhe use ek baar dekhna hai? Meri future bahu ko” she said excitedly
“What bahu? She rejected me ma!” He said huffing.
“Ok calm down milao to sahi i wont say anything bus!”
“I will see what i can do” he couldnt deny his mom, his mom was endearing it didnt matter to her what Imlie was rape victim.
