The backlash was so profound that each of the media articles covered it and they have no place to hide their faces! It would have been a pretty big news in their circle that how much their viewers are annoyed at their storytelling!

Even more so, considering this is the so called too rated show of ITV since forever.

They are just trying to play it cool, pretending as if nothing major happened, this was part of the plan and all! Nothing much they can do!

Ya trending has happened previously also but this time i have seen almost all media portals have made articles about it.

Makers were so scared about mukku Vanraj scene during mukku breakdown that they even gave us a scene later clarifying that vanraj is abuser and anupama is also a victim.

But thats what shocked me this time, why they aren't accepting their mistake....chalo ab jo ho gaya wo ho gaya...ab shadi ke functions to dobara nahi kar sakte but...galti to maano...yaha to ye log ghamand ke sath bol rahe hai we are right viewers ko kuch nahi pata.

The most baffling point here is, even when they know their viewers pulse to the T, they had a well established set of audience, they had weaved a magic once upon a time (not that they aren't capable now) then what's stopping them?

The argument can be placed about SP's influence but till what extent? He wants to be treated as a major part of the show, that's all? They can give him the desired ss with a parallel story of his own? Who's stopping them? We'd happily ff those parts. Everyone would be happy!

The constant urge to shove his face and a*s in between the ongoing storyline of Anupama's life is neither needed nor appreciated. It's kinda a doing more damage to SP's image than he's thinking. Even a sort of waste of his talent.

Maybe, just maybe if his story is kept separate, given a new angle, justified properly, the audience might start connecting to the Vanraj (sans Anupama) and even sympathies with him (the main motto of PH rn). Just get him another love story for the heck I care, keep him out of his forceful invasion into MaAn's life and their marriage!

@red thats exactly they should do and every one including sp himself must be wondering why he is not getting any progress any development in his character.
