In 8 innings versus RR, Pant has scored 344 runs, averaging 57.33, striking at 166.69.

- - Eight of the last nine matches this IPL have been won by the side batting first. In the last five games, the winning margin for sides batting first has been over 50 runs.

- Samson is the only player to strike above 140 as captain and has maintained a strike-rate of 140-plus across both periods - as captain and non-captain - and his average has also gone up after taking over captaincy.

Rishabh Pant, Delhi Capitals Captain: It is dry and we are expecting dew later, so we will bowl first. Chat was positive after the last game. Hold more wickets in the middle overs and bowl good overs. Anything between 140-160 will be good. Ripal Patel replaces Lalit Yadav. Chetan Sakariya comes in for Khaleel Ahmed.
