One last thing about the episode! The fact that Akshu stood up for her passion today was so powerful. Music is her first love, and it is the essence of who she is. She will always be proud of that & stand up for it, and I think that is so beautiful! Music is what has always given her a voice even when she didn't have the confidence to speak!

The episode was nice too. Loved everything about the episode except maybe the last part. I felt bidaai was a little rushed . Also, I didn’t like akshu crying and breaking down at the end. Like I understand she is scared (and frankly who wouldn’t be if they are entering Birla house 😆) but I didn’t want her to show that in front of the Birlas. I would have been okay if only abhi, Manjari and neil would have been present to witness that. I just didn’t want HAM to see her so vulnerable.. I want akshu to enter Birla house like “sher” even if she is feeling like “billi” on the inside.

( PS- for grace: sher = lion and billi = cat )

I haven’t read any other reviews and haven’t thought very deeply about it but atleast that’s what I felt on first impression

Ok when I watched that scene where the Birlas arranged a cocktail and cake cutting party I was actually wondering why were the Goenkas and Abhi overreacting. I don't think the Birlas were wrong in arranging that. The way Goenkas were complaining looked funny to me because they never informed Birlas before doing 100s of rasams. I felt this show is deliberately showing the Birlas wrong even if they aren't wrong and Abhimanyu has to have problem with everything Harsh does but then after reading your post I felt may be Goenkas and Abhi felt offended because Akshara was not invited or something like that. Otherwise nowadays cocktail and cake cutting parties are so common after weddings. I felt Mimi was overreacting seeing guests drinking.

When Neil removed the sandals I could already see his feet had turned red. 😆 If he had worn those sandals for some more time he would have definitely got a shoe bite.

I second your thoughts. I didn’t feel anything for the bidhai. I mean they are in the same city and can meet so it didn’t make sense to me. I cannot relate as we don’t do this in my family if the girl is on our end. But I see that the entire fandom loved it so it must just be me!

I also would have preferred a private break down. Maybe it’s just hitting her now what many of us have been worried about since the confession, what Manish was stressing over - the Birlas elders are severe and serious and do not approve of Abhi’s choice. Still I would have preferred it if she put her game face on and went in.

I think the Birla elders will consider this yet another failing.
