I'm shocked at Anuj's memory. He has made mental notes of all details of dulha and pulls it out 27 years later. 👏

But forgot to mention to his wife-to-be that he has more relatives. I was ROFL at his rishtedaar, chacha, chachi... do people really forget that much that they don't bother mentioning even as a passing comment to someone who he is getting married to ?

And our madam goes - "koi baat nahi... bula lijiye.." Another set of cliched episodes are to follow after the relatives arrive about her divorce, 2nd marriage, daadi ki shaadi.... yawn!! 🤔

I am seriously thinking of giving up on this show. The lack of logic, coupled with video clips have been a huge turn off. GK's charm also seems to be vanishing quickly. I am wondering if taking a tiny break from the show will at least keep some charm alive and not kill it completely. Still debating.....

This first bit - you are saying this coming from prequel no or otherwise? we all knew getting into this that he loved her given everything and seeing her getting married didnt change anything...If it is to do with prequel, then yes, I agree the 17 years funda didnt quite land well and has left a lot of questions (I think we spoke about this on a sep thread)...

keeping the prequel and sangeet aside for a minute, I dont see that to be in bad taste...he loved her (infact still loves her) after all of this and thats quite a big thing and ermm commendable (only cus IRL this is quite rare). Technically he never hid from people close to him, ofcourse she didnt know not because he didnt want to tell her but given her past and her approach to a new life partner (re: mandir episode and a few more), he didnt want to disappoint her (?) or maybe even lose her as a friend (again, can be argued if this was right or wrong but maybe if the intentions were not wrong...then probably it was ok I guess) but when push came to a shove, he did...and the one thing he maintained consistently were his feelings post that (even after knowing her stance)

Ofcourse this track we all liked/appreciated but then this prequel happened so I guess the whole spoiling of his charac has left many salty or like meehh...

I agree to an extent that not just his charm but even maAn is losing charm, not because it is getting boring or anything, but because the story is missing logic by a huge margin. you can ignore few things but many obvious ones you can't. And I guess this is one of the main reasons for the whole drop in viewership and ofcourse the outrage/backlash. If this show was a simple out and out drama, then no one would've cared much. But because this show started off with a diff message and got us all invested, here we are!

(just my opinion, ofcourse no offence meant and I know you won't take any either ❤️)

@bold: and this is why I doubt they'll remove him cus if they do, they won't have any reason to keep her tied to SH. Less SH means less vannu ss/crass drama. Unless ofcourse the yesterday's trend has got them thinking...

Prequel & the recnt date may have some part in it, but not entirely. But, it is what it is ... moving on. 🤔
