The most beautiful episode ever!!!
Abhi keeps calling the pandit sir and telling him to slow down because he is only getting married once and wants to take it all in. The Goenkas support him and tell the pandit to be careful. This scene was so funny and cute at the same time. Abhi wants every little thing to be perfect so that he can be united with Akshu forever. The way Akshu is looking at him during this scene is pure love. He is literally her everything. She keeps correcting him and telling him to call him panditji and not sir!
Anand gets an email about some medical conference, but Akshu and Abhi are invited instead of him and Mahima. Both of them fume and get insecure. They think Abhi did something to get Akshu invited because she is not a doctor. Again, the foundation is being laid for this track post-marriage. Their thinking is so cheap & its disgusting that they are insecure of someone half their age.
Aarohi is searching for the sandals, which Neil is wearing. They have a back and forth banter scene.
Itās time for ghatbhandan, and the Goenkas say the groomās sister does it, but Manjari says it has to be the brideās sister so that she gets importance too. She remembers that Mahima and her did it for each other, but Mahima ignores her and says she doesnāt recall. This scene captured the difference between the sisters. They remind me so much of Akshu and Aarohi. One is pure love and the other does not value sentiments at all.
Akshu looks at Abhi worried, but he says that he doesnāt care who does it. He cares that he is getting married to her. Aarohi has some trouble doing it at first, and Abhi tells her to do it so strongly that no one can ever separate them. Aarohi was the reason Abhira couldnāt be together, and now, she is tying it so strong that nothing will happen to Abhira. This is karma. Aarohi looks like she is getting triggered again in this scene when Abhi is telling her to do it strongly.
Then one of the most beautiful scenes ever. Itās time for kanyadaan. Vansh asks Manish and Swarna to go, but Manish signals Kairav to go. The way Abhi looks at Akshu during this scene shows how much he cares for her and is concerned for her. He grabs her hand. The scene pans to the photo frame. It really does show that her parents have sent him for her.
Kairav comes to the mandap, and they show flashbacks of him taking care of baby Akshu. Akshu says that ever since her parents died, Kairav has fulfilled every responsibility for her. Kairav thanks her for giving him this honor and says that he thought he was unlucky to not have parents, but being her brother is the luckiest thing of all. He says that everyone should get a sister like her.
Kairav is the closest thing Akshu has to her parents. On this day, she misses them more than ever before. And through Kairav, she has a piece of them with her now and always. I have seen very few scenes from the past season, but each and every single scene of Kairav and Akshu was pure love. He took her on as his own daughter at such a young age once their parents passed away. He has failed as a brother in many ways, and I have bashed him for it, but at the end of the day, he loves Akshu more than his own life. He really did try his best, himself having gone to hell and back and having dealt with so much pain and loss in such a short span of time. There could have been nothing more perfect than him doing this honor for his baby sister.
Abhi helps Akshu get up for the pheras. Gauri Shankar plays in the background, and this is the most perfect song they could have ever chosen. It played first when they dreamt of each other, then when Aarohiās name was erased from Abhiās hand, then at the mandir when they almost got married. And today, it is playing for their wedding. They have truly come full circle.
The way that Abhira are both teary eyed and looking at each other during this entire scene was pure love.
Mimi says the first phera is about how man is incomplete without woman and Akshu has to be in front. Abhi gladly moves to the back. The second phera Swarna explains is about their success together. The third one Manjari explains is about selfless love. Manish then says the fourth one is about moksh. Itās time for Abhi to come to the front, but he says that he will follow Akshu her entire life so there is no need. Manjari laughs and says they need to walk together, but for now, he should come to the front.
Then it is time for sindoor. The way Akshu was sobbing in this scene has my entire heart. Abhi looked at her with so much love. It is as if neither one of them could believe this moment is finally here. The indoor falls on her nose and Mimi explains this means their love is so deep. Abhi says that even if the entire sindoor box fell, that wouldnāt capture his feelings. Abhi gestures at Akshu to put indoor on him too, and they both remember how she did it as a joke before the day after confession. She is hesitant, but she does it. Abhi explains that just like he should be protected, she should too. This scene was so freaking cute.
Then we get the manglastura scene with Akshu again crying out of happiness and Abhi admiring her. The title track played here, and it was perfect!
Then comes the rasam where they have to push 7 nuts into rice, each one symobolizing a vachan. They each say their own vachans in their minds and they hear each other of course. This was honestly one of my favorite scenes ever. During each vachan, Abhiās promise is to Akshu, and Akshuās promise is to him and his family too. This captures both of their essence and shows that after marriage, they will balance each other out and always teach each other how to be a better partner and family member.
The first one is about love. He says he promises to love her forever, and she says she promises to love him and his family forever too.
The second one is about submitting oneself to your partner. He promises to do so, and she says she will to him and his family too.
Then comes priority. He says she will always be his priority, and she says that he will be herās, and she will prioritize his family just like she has her own. By accepting his family wholeheartedly, she is accepting him. Akshu knows that families are a part of oneself, and Abhiās family is ultimately an extension of him for her!
Then comes the one about problems. Abhi says they will fight every problem together. Akshu says the same and that they will protect their families too. Again, Akshu is going to be the greatest healer for the Birla family!
Then comes trust. Abhi says that he will always support her no matter what. Akshu says the same, and that they will take their families with them.
Abhi says that they will always stay together. That he will never hide anything from her. Akshu says she will never give him any chances to complain. She will be a good wife, daughter, and bahu. She is going to fill all of these roles so beautifully.
At the end, both of them look at each other with so much love. Akshu is crying laughing, and Abhi cannot take his eyes off of her!
