It’s my weakness that I can’t go cold turkey..so hopefully this works 😄

Totally with you there. Ram has been starved for affection for the longest time and Priya knows how emotional he is and what her acceptance of his love and reciprocation of the same in words means to him. So to suddenly turn cold and behave like a chui mui is weird in that scenario especially if you have consummated your marriage. It took all the romance out of the big moment. No one here and we have all admitted it wants a hot steamy scene but at least show the big moment aesthetically and in a believable manner. Here neither the environment nor the way it was said looked right. Well let’s wait and watch the episode, knowing the makers they may stretch this out till Wednesday and in between fill the next two days with fluff dangling a carrot in front of our collective noses and questioning our intelligence.

The precap and the jump of Ram and the BTS all collectively took away the anticipation of the confession. Now, it feels like oh, we DID it and so it's a formality to say those words. Nonsense!

They are teaching people to go and sleep with someone first and then say you love them. Disgusting! This is THE most obligatory and coldest confession ever!

I now need to go and watch 'North and South' and John's confession and how Margaret flipped in rage so badly hearing that. I am sorry, I also don't want to rant again and spoil the mood of others here.

Enjoy you, folks, I am so happy for you! ❤️

After seeing todays sneak peak , I was really upset. He says I love you and she is running away from that topic. Seriously? and this is after they release the promo of him announcing that his wife is pregnant.

If they had shown her like the Maine Pyar Kiya , where the FL lead says "mujhe mood nahi hain" then we can atleast accept the playfulness behind it. This is as if she doesnt trust him and dont share the same feeling.

And even the dialogues and body language all looked so made up and mechanical /robotic. I do not see that emotion which used to flow in most of their conversation.

Not at all convincing. I feel the beauty of the show is lost. Even the actors seem disinterested.

I loved coming back to IF again and again. I loved reading your takes and perspectives. I was suffering from an artists block and your TGG and How to be both gave me so many ideas which I am going to try very soon.❤️

Yes, you need that strong will to not look at the addiction. When we think we are spending more than 10 hours on a thing, we ARE addicted, which is really harmful to our health and well-being. We should enjoy the story like we are doing now, some are watching, and some are not, and not get involved too deeply in it. Too much of an attachment is a very dangerous thing.

This is not only true of series or movies, but the same goes for books too. At one point, I would go book after book for six months at a stretch, and then I'd realize that I was addicted. That's when I take a break.

One motto I learned is - "never be a slave of your addictions."

But. But. But. What is cool is we are out of the trance of Raya. You know the funny thing is I avoided EK my whole life till now, but the one I chose to watch turned out to be such a fiasco! Never made such a pathetic decision.

Cold turkey! smiley37smiley37smiley37

With you there, I have never watched an EK show , just recently I watched the web series Baarish and Pavitra Rishra which was over in like 20 episodes. I have heard of EK shows from a dear friend who loves tv and Bollywood so chose to stay away from these shows. In fact I can say that IPK with Barun and Sanaya , the first 150 or so episodes of IB , BALH 1 till right before the leap are the only shows I watched until BALH2 . I read a lot and spend a lot of time reading blogs, reading about nutrition and health ( don’t believe in dr Google ) but enjoy reading about how to eat healthy to stay healthy.

It's the 'distraction'

Aap niche jao aur sabko distract karao

So Ram is flustered and uses Sandy's theory

That's why Priya is miffed

No pregnancy just distraction

Priya may have ate fusion cake 🤣

When I came to the US almost 23 years ago I had just gotten married. Within a week of my marriage I had moved to a new country where I did not know anyone not even my husband as our marriage was an arranged one and before our wedding we must have spoken to each other maybe 3-4 times for a few minutes only that too with the whole family within hearing distance. I met my husband for the first time on our wedding as he used to live here. Ours was the kind of arranged marriage that took place in our dadi/ nani times where families arranged everything. At that time the library and books were my only companion. I would visit the library every weekend and get 10-15 books which I would read through the week. I used to get so lost in books that I would rush to finish my daily chores and get back to reading. Books were and are my savior even today.

The confession is fine,

priya can shy away, turn away, laugh away, any other way… but why shubam and krish waiting way?🤪

Also, forbearance…

1. krish can be a Bichada hua ram’s brother …

2. When Sita says that she is pregnant, Ram asks

Beholding his consort glowing with beauty, Raghava experienced an unequalled delight and exclaimed then he addressed the lovely Sita, who resembled a daughter of the Gods, and said:—

“Now, O Vaidehi, that you dost bear a child in your womb, what dost you desire, O Lady of lovely hips? What pleasure can I prepare for you?”

Smiling, Vaidehi answered Rama, saying:—

“O Raghava, I wish to visit the sacred retreats of the Rishi of rigid penances, who dwell on the banks of the Ganga where they subsist on fruit and roots, and there I will throw myself at their feet, O Lord. O Kakutstha, it is my supreme desire even to pass a night in the hermitage of these ascetics who live on fruit and roots.”

And later Ram gets to know of rumours and sends her away….

2.There is an impending separation, acting like so/ actually so… we don’t know yet…
