He is so calm about the whole BK lie, like we'll see when his "Sahi Waqt" comes. Despite so many experiences, he still stuck on this..an excuse to delay things rather than countering it. In all this Sai is stressed out because it her career, she is anxious and it is continuously on her mind. While he is being patient with her, but he is way to calm. And it gives that feel "It is not his career on line at the end of the day". Hence he is not so serious about it. Even if you look at the lie, he told the lie, only because he didn’t want to lose Sai as he knew that she will choose her career.

This is why we feel this as a forced track. The clip you shared was cute, very couple thing. But like you said they appear as a couple married since years. Which they technically are. But their true married life has just started. They are different that ways. While they will share a certain comfort from the fact that they have been living together for a few years and with the love blossoming it makes it more smoother. There is definitely a burning under current for physical intimacy. But that doesn’t mean they will jump on each other at the first opportunity or there will be no nervousness or anxiety. Thats not how it works. Comfort of living together is different from physical intimacy. It will ease the nervousness and hesitation a bit, but there will be that pause, break , slow motion. In that clip the way he has comes and drapes his arms around her waist for a back hug looks natural like they have always done it. If they are saying its been a few days, then why did they miss showing that progress while plugging in a plot that is definitely meant for later. Why the rush?

"Agar" vs "Jab". I did mention this as an argument in my review of SR. His dialogues that day were more around assurance that he will try to convince to let her become a doc. It was all about trying. He can't give her an assurance that she will. That very difference in the choice of word says a lot about his state of mind. Like I had said, she trust V, but all he has said he will try to convince BK. And she trusts him with that. He hasn’t given her assurance he will make it happen. How can she trust him on something he himself hasn't committed to.

Yes, they cant show that level of dynamics in ITV, and neither are we expecting, but they skip even the basics. Functioning on 1st gear and jumping to 4th, there is bound to be a jump. How are they expecting the audience to relate to their skipping levels as per convenience.

There is definitely the quota of drama needed to hook the audience. I dont deny that. But they just thrive on that. The romance or any other aspects are not considered. They just brush through them like an off season drizzle. There needs to be a balance. This show lacks it. See how they stretch a scene for weeks where there is only abuse and good mature conversation is wrapped up in minutes with an abrupt closing.

They already have done so much damage. I used to like that character so much, maybe more than Sai at one point. But today he has started to bother and irritate me. To the extent I feel if I return to watching I may end up FF this scenes like I do with his BF.

At this point I don't know if I dislike the actor or the character more considering I liked both and I did give benefit of doubt for quite a while. But this is way beyond tolerance and any justifications.

A lot of people brought up how its Sai speaking about him wanting a daughter that made him suddenly jump the gun. But the way I saw it, everyon was saying waaris/chiraag in a way to imply male child but that made Sai remember a conversation they had about how a daughter can be the ghar ka chirag too. So she leaned in and says that - but you want a daughter (as ghar ka Chirag is left unsaid)...and he recalls the same convo about how Sai also in flow had talked about both of them making sure to give that kind of upbringing. So it was a good callback. But thats it. I don't think that should be used to imply that Sai is now ready for babies. She cant be. They literally just properly became husband-wife, she has a career to kickstart and he also has had a lot going on- he needs to get back to work!

Thats why I don't think its cool that V has decided that he is ready for babies and Sai's response also is SO ambiguous as if she too is ready right away. She should have said it in a way that put the focus back on her career n the current problem...sab settle hojaaye toh eventually yes, she wants a family with him.

Their focus as a couple should be on fighting the pressure put by bk on them. Its harder now than before because at least then everyone knew their dynamic was not "love" but getting there ..but now after public confession, hugging/kissing they have more pressure to give waaris.

And that in itself is a great track. They should have shown the struggles of navigating their intimacy, relationship with so much pressure. Instead they are giving some crap of pp in between again, and surrogacy nonsense.

If they really wanted surrogacy mention, would have been a good way to show parallels. Sairat not ready for babies, using contraception but maybe a Shivani/K trying hard to get pregnant but not being able to ....

And then with the ShiviRaj marriage it went overboard.

Only good thing is Ash had that dialogue where she says it has been many days since mandir visit ... so we are not left to assume.

Not just SaiRat, I am still not over the casualness of Pakhi BK convo of the cowrie prophecy. How can anyone be so cool about it?

I may sound like a broken record but I have been saying this for a long time.

Take a break from advance episodes... sit together, brainstorm and come back with proper plots and relevant dialogues even if they do it for a week and resume, it will work wonders.

Right now, we are left to interpret on our own, confusing us further.

So i didnt know its been "many days" from mandir visit because i skipped pp scenes as always....knowing that now makes me bamboozled.Why are we rushing ahead instead of showing the Sairat dynamics in these "many days post mandir visit". Anyway there cant be more than a month gap between exam and results and thereafter starting internship. That was an important month for Sairat but it has been completely skipped. Rather they are showing that Sai has only been upto bahy duties for that 1 month....and thats fine but what about that honeymoon period of the couple. How can they fastforward all that, the long overdue conversations that should have happened in that time to results, drama, and then making a baby-infertility- surrogacy?!

Thats exactly the point.

During MiMo track they had baby talk. But that was a phase where they had no clue about the future of their relationship. While Virat wanted the marriage to work he wasn't sure if it would and Sai was in the deal mode. It was not about whether they wanted a baby or not. It was about BK decision and how they will deal with it. Now that they have accepted this marriage whole heartedly, it becomes an entirely different and very important conversation. Consummation is not about baby making and conjugal part from there on is not only about creating babies. It is an extension of love between a couple. Which continues irrespective of baby planning in picture. They are mixing it up. And here they have not even been physically intimate. How are they already moving on to baby?

They have messed up characters and there is no sync in the dialogues and mental state. Just throwing random things to catch the train or rather make space for the royals!

They are missing poignant scenes and conversations. These are not natural or organic progressions, They are forced plugins where we are to fill in the gaps as per our understanding. And our understanding says if we are to assume and make sense out what they miss, what are they even doing at their job? Might as well make it episodic where they pick one subject at a time. We wouldn’t miss the flow then

I have hated this aspect about leaving things to audience's assumption. It is fine sometimes to leave certain endings with that ambiguity or audience's intelligence or perspective. It's interesting.

But this is different. They just skip things in between thinking we will make up the connect between scenes. Either because of dynamics, discomfort or god knows what.
