Exactly what i felt. If you watch that scene its not about him wanting to be intimate- because that would be completely normal. The problem is that its about him wanting to make a baby now! Not even in future....its not that- oh i dream of a family with you. He said- family wants it, I want it, so I hope you want a baby too....and if so, lets get on it. Small mercy is that at least he asked her- do you want it too .. consent toh pucha. Good job!

Sai's response came out ambiguous. She says yes- but does she mean now?! I think not, and I think she means that "eventually" she wants a family too....i wish her response had been more clear...i wish she had said yes, once i am more settled in my career i want to have kids with you.

When he walks in and sees Sai morose, he says- mahantji said chiraag aayega, so cheer up- Ridiculous. Does he really think shes bothered about mahantji n waaris at that time?! She was upset about lying to bk and how bk has done a U turn assuming she is going to be stay at home bahu. She feels guilty that bk is treating her special, tying mauli etc- that too going against several people who were loyal to her in being in the anti Sai camp- and its all because of a LIE and a big misunderstanding. She is upset that her newfound acceptance, special treatment, happiness, peace in CN is all merely a stop gap delusion- a calm before the storm. And eventually when the myth shatters n truth is out she knows she will be hit with even more wrath than before. Sai knows what's to come. But V is ignoring it for now and his ploy of bringing up baby definitely seems manipulative to me...sai even called him manipulative monkey! Very apt. Because if bk loses her shit on learning about Sai being doctor, and Sai gets pregnant then BK will calm down again - V knows that.

How is V talking about career, planning on calming Bk/truth reveal and baby all at the same time?! Does he think its a good idea to be actively having unprotected sex to make a baby when Sai hasnt even started her career....

So yes, definitely V is looking manipulative , a tad selfish and also silly all at the same time! Is he naive or pretending to be.... because he's way too calm about bk despite knowing what she's like...

Agree with you and it is not just this episode but also the previous one in mandir.

And it is not just V who is being dicey, it's Sai too.

I understand that they had a certain comfort between them because of living together for so long. This baby talk is already an explored topic in mimo and at that time V had mentioned to Sai that he will not force her to do something she doesn't wish to. So it's understood somewhere.

But as usual, the writers have amnesia and they have forgotten this.

Also the pace is increased rapidly. It was mentioned in today's episode that it has been few days since marriage.

With all this in mind, I would attribute this to bad dialogue writing and bad direction and failure to show intimacy.

See, these two are passionate individuals, have been in love, so what is wrong if they show them indulging in biological needs at the first go? Many were of the view that it's good that Sai stopped him. Fine. I am not saying she shouldn't have. But there are levels of intimacy ... Why not explore them? Don't go all the way... A kiss wouldn't hurt.

The dialogues were too direct in the episode, fully implying the act but staying in realms of ITV... Ofcourse they cannot say the word or show the act but it was properly hinted. Fair enough. But when a couple has not even engaged in a kiss, making them talk about having a baby sounds highly odd.

V you mentioned already, but I felt they did the same with Sai. When he comes near her and talks to her, she says I am happy. Why can't she she say that's not of my worries? The same way, in the mandir scene too, Sai is anxious the whole time but suddenly happily realises that V wanted a daughter and they have a sweet sa moment.

The moment is not wrong, the timing is abrupt.

How come Sai is so casual about the whole idea??? That should be the last thing on her mind. It would have been better if he had completed it with, I still want the same but want a daughter like you. That would have been more romantic and sweet.

Same with V in this episode. Another bad example of writing is he says "agar tum Dr ban gai" and not "jab tum Dr ban gai" in a convo earlier. A single word but makes hell lot of difference.😭

Another example is morning after the SR, how come V didn't know where Sai was and how come he came strolling down so casually and not looking for her? They have made them look like a couple few years into marriage and not days 👎🏼

I understand that there are limitations to what they can show or want to show but the omission of showing physical intimacy is making all this look weird.

Where is the shyness, eagerness and excitement to indulge in this act for the first time? Where is her hesitation? Why is he not jumping at it every opportune moment? Sorry to sound crass but why is he so cool about all of it?

Physical intimacy is as much a part of marriage as everything else. But the failure to show that is making them look so naive and chaste!!!

In real life, it takes time for a couple to understand the mechanics of it all and in ITV they get pregnant the first time

Ideologically the talk of having a baby vs career is what is needed. But this sloppy writing is making V questionable again. I would still not go to the point of calling him manipulative to sacrifice her career but this nonsense pace is definitely putting him in bad light 👎🏼

Over there they showed the elder couple trying precautions because it was not financially viable to have a kid .. wife helping the Husband in business

later on after 15 years trying desperately for kid

the younger brothers wife has a career she gets pregnant.. doesn’t want to keep the baby .. goes to abort it .. so it’s not makers are not aware of it .. problem is the audience doesn’t support it

Sai has always been happy thinking of a child with Virat - her dream during the divorce fiasco .she even tells Kaku in the future when I have children, I will take care of my family. But like any working mother, she doesn't see any problem.

Yesterday I forwarded the scene where Sai sits next to BK and talks about her results so hesitatingly. I just do not have the bandwidth in my head to watch Sai like this & Virat being so nonchalant about it anymore.

Apparently, Neil referred to Aishwarya as the antagonist in some IV recently. They were asked about trolling. His answer was she's the antagonist so obviously there will be trolling. Earlier he always implied that she was one of the protagonists.

Not reading much into it but does it imply that Pakhi will turn negative in the show with this track meaning changing the dynamics between the characters? For us, she is negative, that apart.

See... It is because how he has been built up so far and we as audience know that V is equally dedicated to Sai's career, is the only reason we can give him leeway for such poor dialogues... Without rhyme or reason.

But standalone that clip indeed looks questionable on his part. Once again, the makers are destroying their own lead 👎🏼

baby talk for me appeared like a foreplay . If he has that intention or not will be revealed soon! I will be super mad if he trades child with career. He is no one to decide it. It has to sais decision and he can’t take that right away from her! If he does then it shows he took her love for granted. Which I don’t think he will do. 🤞
