Ok today is the last episode and my views on the show

V is a narcissist and a master manipulator. Never really loved Anu. Just wanted to have the weird satisfaction of controlling someone. His girlfriend had a mind of her own so he settled for Anu. Anu fit the role of his ideal perfect maid for the entire family.

Anu was bubbly chirpy 17 years ago because she believed her husband loved her. Every girl goes into an arranged marriage with dreams. She was the same. Ignored all the warning signs... thought her husband just had some mild anger issues. The incident seems to have broken her. As Moti Baa said at the end of the prequel you can see her eyes didn't reflect her smile. Maybe after Moti Baa's death she became even more reserved. I feel she created a virtual world for herself where her family was perfect. So that she can live in that toxic place.

Moti Baa was the only person who really ever cared for Anu. I think after her death Anu's life became more miserable. Her blessing foreshadowing the MaAn track was good.

Bapuji is as usual useless. He was is and always will be a dumb spectator. He doesn't love Anu at all. All he wants is a free maid just like V.

Baa was just as vile as she is now. Her dialog in the last episode 'I gifted the best gold bangle so she should be happy' shows her mentality. She feels since she gives gifts to Anu she should be grateful. The whole scene made me think how many times over the years she would have drilled the same to Anu. Maybe one reason why Anu thinks she should be grateful to her.

Anuj... uh Anuj.. he was there only for a scene yet he made an impact that V didn't make in 11 episodes for me. His heartbreak, decision to wait was all so endearing. When she came out and looked at him going away unaware of who he was and what he means to her was just... I have no words. I cried for both of them in that scene. That scene was brilliant.

Overall I loved Anu, Moti Baa and Anuj. I don't know what the makers really wanted to convey but to me... if there is something that the prequel wanted to show, it was the fact that V never had an ounce of love for Anu... Anu and Anuj were always meant to be together... If not then sometime for sure...

it was very triggering. I got so angry during that romantic night wala episode. God! It was awful.

Feel even more bad for anu and now i will get angrier on her if she ever takes trashraj's side or calls him achhe pita/bete or whatever🤢

Just like it happens with the patients of schizophrenia or multiple personality disorder that when pain becomes too much to bear then mind creats alternate reality as defence mechanism. More or less same thing happened with anupama. Her heart broke and she shut her eyes, denying to face harsh, terrifying reality. She created her alternate reality that everything was perfect in her household. She has best husband and in laws until trashraj himself shook her out of the misery by stooping even lower with kavya affair and all that.

I so desperately want pakhi to hear the truth of her conception somehow from her besht papa's mouth himself then literally spit on his face and walk out to never see him again🤢

And now its a high time anupama should end her toxic relationship with baa. After watching prequel baa se aur bhi jyada nafrat ho gayi hai amd now when you see tv show and see how anupama is ready to do her bidding it irks you more. This selfish, thankless, self centered, cruel lady deserves all the badduas in the world.

Honestly if it's a real life scenario, Anu should meet a counselor before marrying Anuj. Both of them should go for counseling. He also needs to know how far she has been hurt... but this is a reel show😆So I am not going to worry.... let them do whatever they want😆

For my own sanity i no longer watch this show but I come in forums time n again n have upar upar se knowledge of what's going on which technically not much😆considering the fact Jo jaisa tha waise hi hai no change just a marriage with same toxicity around, in short triggering n torture n doing gol gol ghumna like shaktimaan in one place with respect to character development or story🤣

High time nikal gaya behen for anu to serve ties with baa....yeh boomerang ki tarah hai kuch hota hai dur jaati hai aur phir bakri ki tarah ba ba chalu...post baas scandal in diwali laga tha yeh thoda sudhregi seeing she is maintaining her boundries when baa was sick in bed but yeh toh kinjal ka khayal rakhne ke aad mein phir se Shah household ki maid ban gayi

So baa n anupama ka yeh Stockholm syndrome wala Jo abusive rishta hai will continue till one of them dies first🤷‍♀️

N pakhi wala kaand toh hone se raha chahe koi bhi kuch kahe akhir vanraj kuch bhi ho ek acha pitah hai yeh line unhe barbaad thodi karni hai

Sachi yeh Log kya kachra sikha rahe n especially to young audience...how to stay in toxic relationship 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Yes both of them needs a counselor

In fact even after her mental breakdown when anupama found out vanya, she needed help....but no one cared to think about it.

And no if she hasn't found out about kavya then she would have never left him. Because all his other tortures had become integral paet of her life, she was habituated to it. Vanya affair was like a wake up call for her too.

If moti baa would be there I feel vanraj couldn't abuse anupamaa, moti baa would have slapped him or take some action against him.

I think moti baa wouldn't allow anyone to harm anupamaa if she would be alive.i don't have a bodyguard moti baa like how anupamaa has,I have no friend like that 😓😓😓😓😓😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😖😖😖😞😞😞

guys i just finished watching the prequel this afternoon

one thing im not understanding is why Bae went to see her?

he knew she was married.

she doesn't know know him by face. they have never spoken before.

i feel like he looked for his own tears cuz devika mustve told him that she has kids etc???

what was he thinking going to anupamaa's house???

can someone legit explain this to me, cuz im really confused. 😕

I think the glimpse of anuj and even kavya in the last episode was done to establish that in future these four will be the main characters, the dynamics will change and finally anuraj will be free from their marriage and find their respective love interest. I think this was makers perspective.

I feel anuj's name in one episode amd then his small jhalak in last was purely done to please fans. He has become one of the main character now and fans are going crazy for him. One of the main criticism of prequel was fans were complaining they dont want to see yet another anuraj abusive journey like old episodes of the show, they want more of anuj and maan. Of course makers didn't compromised on their "real hero's" screen space but still including a anuj scene as a lollipop.

Now coming to anuj's tears. I have only one explanation, he knew that anupama is married, devika told him. Yet he came after so long and he was desperate to see her so much so that even after knowing that his in laws will not like him, he just went to see a glimpse from far. The thing is even after he knew everything about her marriage and children but the image in his mind was of his college going anu. When he saw her now that image broke and the way she was playing with her children, happy in her own world...no matter how selfless anuj is but the image would have stung somewhere, it must have remind him of his lost love. Hence the tears.
