I agree... prequel is bakwaas infact the story is so so so triggering. Even more problematic and triggering than tv show🤢

Ok so V says to Anu that he did all this because he couldn't live without her🤬I can't even... the manipulation he does is on another level🤬Such people who manipulate in the name of love is such a 🤬....They don't know the L in love honestly but behave as if they are the only one in love...🤬

Just a random thought. I am aware of the prequel story in bits only due to SM. I am not watching it because I know it would be triggering for me personally, same reason, I stopped seeing OG months back.

There is difference between being Good at heart and dumb/simpleton/idiot. If even after all this Anupama still calls Baa her Maa, Vanraj as Accha Insaan/Pita/Beta then is she good at heart or idiot. For me she is biggest hypocrite ever, disguising herself as good hearted mother. Sick.

Bapuji is always using her to show his authority to Baa-Laadla always with Anu as collateral damage; the guy has never ever stood for her when needed and only takes from his daughter. Question is would he have ever asked Dolly for all those things, never ever, but Anu yes he needs free ki full time nurse, cook and maid. And this Anu she dances around him and does anything for him.

Anuj is just Despo lover boy, no brains, no character, no substance, just a Mannequin. If only he had put his foot down and said no marriage if venue is Shah House, Bapuji would have relented. This is first wedding where groom's family are treated with zero respect and yet they have no issues. The way he is friendly with V the Person who abuses his sister/daughter is sick. Anu slapped the boy who misbehave with Pakhi but this time its his Anu ka obsession for achcha insaan so let it be. Anuj for me is another hypocrite who is desparate to get Anu.

No matter, how aesthetically beautiful they dress up for date or function, one can't take away the venue and presence of certain people. I came across Maan date PC, it starts with Baa-Laadla and that was it. And then I remember her date in temple with her bacho ka pita. Priority Hypocrisy all shouts in bold Loud and Clear..no redemption track for this serial or characters for me...

Seeing prequel and moti baa's role in it makes me angry on bapuji even more😡

Its not like he was joru ka ghulam always and it was always leela's raaj in the shah house. That man has seen how moti always stood up for anupama, kept band bajaoing of leela and ladla then also how come bapuji turned out to be just silent spectator of anupama's torture, injustice. After moti baa it was all the more his zimmedari to stand up for anupama but he failed miserably and he jas always pulled back anupama instead of freeing her. Anu wanted to leave shah house after divorce but he stopped her, vanraj asked anu shift back in hell to look after kinjal and bapuji didn't even protest, nobody wanted wedding from shah house but this man single handedly persuaded everyone by his emotional blackmail.

Such a pathetic man.

I haven't watched the prequel n have no intentions .so plzz help me out with my curiosity ..... what's the point of showing vanrajs ex girlfriend in the show ....did something happen wrt her

Hey no she did try to force herself on him but he didn't let her get close to him.

I never understood that either especially since he told Anu the moment he saw her, he wanted to marry her (during the tike Pakhi and Baa sent them on a picnic to reunite)

Vanraj loved this girl named ritika in the college. She was like kavya😆 modern, smart but she was very clear that she cant adjust her lifestyle because of anyone. She clearly told vanraj after marriage she wont be living in his family home with his joint family, she wants seperate house.

So basically yet another attempt of showing strong willed, modern woman as vamp by itv🤢

When things didn't settle between them, she dumped vanraj amd moved on. She married someone else, vanraj married anupama because he thought she was perfect wife material as in grah karya mein daksh, and doormat.

After several years rirtika comes back saying she was wrong back then, she couldn't forgot vanraj🤢 amd now she has divorced her husband. She tried to persuade vanraj to divorce anupama too so that both of them can be together once again.

First vanraj said no, then she tried to persuade him saying that she knows his reality, he doesn't love anupama at all. She even tried to get close to him and romancing/forcing herself on him 🤢 while our "hero" was busy in plotting and planning against his own wife anupama who got the life time opportunity to go to America. he even knocked her up in the name of romance so that she wont be able to go.🤢

Both baa and ladla shattered anupama's dreams by doing all their saazish of passport chhupana, visa cancel karwana, pregnant kar dena etc...

Now i guess "hero" will finally say no to his ex gf ritika because he doesn't want to ruin his perfect home with perfect doormat kind of wife whom he can manipulate and keep lock in cage.

And just because he said no to his ex gf, this sp was gloating about his mahaan sacrifice, how his character was not villain in the starting blah blah blah...which clearly tells how delusional he is. Because he appears to be more shrewd, cheap, manipulative, villain then ever.

Thats sum up the whole prequel.

Ok today is the last episode and my views on the show

V is a narcissist and a master manipulator. Never really loved Anu. Just wanted to have the weird satisfaction of controlling someone. His girlfriend had a mind of her own so he settled for Anu. Anu fit the role of his ideal perfect maid for the entire family.

Anu was bubbly chirpy 17 years ago because she believed her husband loved her. Every girl goes into an arranged marriage with dreams. She was the same. Ignored all the warning signs... thought her husband just had some mild anger issues. The incident seems to have broken her. As Moti Baa said at the end of the prequel you can see her eyes didn't reflect her smile. Maybe after Moti Baa's death she became even more reserved. I feel she created a virtual world for herself where her family was perfect. So that she can live in that toxic place.

Moti Baa was the only person who really ever cared for Anu. I think after her death Anu's life became more miserable. Her blessing foreshadowing the MaAn track was good.

Bapuji is as usual useless. He was is and always will be a dumb spectator. He doesn't love Anu at all. All he wants is a free maid just like V.

Baa was just as vile as she is now. Her dialog in the last episode 'I gifted the best gold bangle so she should be happy' shows her mentality. She feels since she gives gifts to Anu she should be grateful. The whole scene made me think how many times over the years she would have drilled the same to Anu. Maybe one reason why Anu thinks she should be grateful to her.

Anuj... uh Anuj.. he was there only for a scene yet he made an impact that V didn't make in 11 episodes for me. His heartbreak, decision to wait was all so endearing. When she came out and looked at him going away unaware of who he was and what he means to her was just... I have no words. I cried for both of them in that scene. That scene was brilliant.

Overall I loved Anu, Moti Baa and Anuj. I don't know what the makers really wanted to convey but to me... if there is something that the prequel wanted to show, it was the fact that V never had an ounce of love for Anu... Anu and Anuj were always meant to be together... If not then sometime for sure...

What a waste of episodes....vanraj showcased as someone who chose Anu rather than ritika being the high sacrifice 🤮🤮🤮🤮

We no longer live in the world were these things r considered great(this is not 90s movie) .....we know what's Gaslighting,toxic nature n narcissistic behaviour is...though we get trapped in real life in such places but from far we can easily identify one ....so if makers wanted to show vanraj being the bigger one they have failed

Now coming to one thing which changed...they mentioned that pakhi was conceived as vanraj wanted a girl but never thought they will change it to unborn pakhi turning out to be a biggest pawn of vanraj n baa....well he did continue to use her against anupama again during divorce times....

When ur parent uses u as a pawn n also says he loves u n does so many things for u ....says a lot as a father ....no he is not a good father

I wonder if pakhi will ever know the truth that she was a pawn even before she was born ....atleast tab Jaa kar uska papa best hai wala bhram tute ga

But makers have already disappointed everyone ,god knows what is going in their heads

N I don't know when will any come out from the clutches of her n baas toxic relationship....I think never
